Good morning everyone!

This forum has been a font of knowledge, emotional support and reassurance over the last couple of years as I’ve finally met with a pain management consultant who has immediately recognized that my symptoms (electric jolts and burning sensation throughout the night and sporadically during my days )were neuropathic and put a plan in place to support me. I’ve started on Pregablin 25mg gradually increasing to 150mg (which is where I am now) Originally I was on amitripline and tramadol 50mg each day and was told to use paracetamol and ibuprofen as required. This did not help me.

This forum gave me the knowledge and perspective to push for a specialised opinion which has confirmed everything Ive believed for a long time.

Special shout out to Sue Johnson, Mad legs!!

Many many thanks from the bottom of my heart πŸ’›
