My Medications for Fibromylgia
I started out with the usual like tramadol, Hydrocodone, etc. Finally I told the Doctor I wanted Oxycodone and he gave it to me. Almost instantly pain gone. My oxycodone had no aspirin in it due to possible liver damage. I started out with 14 5mg per day, now since the scare on opioids, I am down

Can’t cope with the pain today
Hi everyone. I hope you are all hanging in there. Last week my dog pulled me over. I ruptured a lot of the muscles in my left foot/ankle, the specialist said it was the worst sprain he had ever seen as he was convinced there was more going on and I had multiple x rays and scans as he was convinced

AUGMENTATION HAS ARRIVED
As my heading indicates, it would appear that augmentation is now inevitable and has finally arrived. Because of my bipolar diagnosis several months ago, I was prescribed Seroquel on the lowest dosage possible with prescription instructions to increase it by one tablet each week until I'm taking 8.

GETTING BETTER ALL THE TIME! TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE? VACULITIS, PMR/GCA??
Hi to All, My diagnosis has never been entirely clear. Antibodies to PR3 at 1.6 in September, 2016; given diagnosis of C- ANCA vasculitis, but no lung or kidney involvement that I could feel or see. I have always thought symptoms were PMR, (with family history of my maternal grandmother having had it

T3 from Greece
Hi I am travelling to Greece this Summer and hope to be able to obtain T3 when I am there. My question is does anyone know that if I were to get stopped at Customs here in the UK, would there be any problem with this as I know that there are certain drugs, e.g. Tramadol for which you would get into

Tramadol
Hi ladies. So 30mg co-codamol isn’t helping my pains so now been prescribed tramadol. Bit wary of this pain killer. How have you got one with it? I work full time and I don’t know how it effects you during work.

I am hoping some of you can weigh in on this. I have had RLS since 2012 and have tried practically every medicine, Rx and OTC, folklore (the bar of soap...lol), etc., for RLS and the only thing that has consistently helped me is Requip 2 mg at bedtime. Unfortunately, I developed daytime RLS a few months

Fuming! Doctors useless, any advice??
When you go to the doctors with the worst flare in a long time and he turns round and tells you ‘don’t know why you came here, there’s no cure for endo, you just have to get on with it’. Thanks mate Any other advice, I’ve tried the usual hot bath, tramadol, cocodomol, hot water bottle, nefipam 😩

How is everyone managing their pain?
At my last visit to my neurologist I expressed my concern to him that I'm taking 800mg of ibuprofen every single day at least once a day and he said he thought I'd be fine. Well, after an endoscopy and colonoscopy I'm being treated for an ulcer so obviously it wasn't "fine". The gastroenterologist prescribed

Help, how do I find an experienced consultant?
Following a total knee replacement in 2011 I have had acute chronic pain ever since. I have had the 'full' NHS treatments and am on fentanyl patches, diazepam & tramadol etc. but the medication is getting less and less effective. I have had a failed dorsal root ganglion stimulator trial and have concluded

Unsure
Hi everyone, I had a partial hysterectomy in 2011. Since then I have been having an awful time with pain under my right rib. I have been told it's musculoskeletal, costacondrotus etc etc. I don't know where to turn to next. I am convinced that it's endo following the hysterectomy as the surgeon then

Problems post-op
Hi everyone I am a bit concerned about what I am experiencing after my surgery? I underwent a laparoscopy 4 days ago. Was in theatre almost 2 hours and experienced very high pain levels post-op. I remained in Hospital overnight and was sent home the following day. The pain was still a huge issue
