40+ years of Exhausting Fibro!!
Hi everyone, I have not been on this forum for a long time now due to declining health and numerous personal stuff (all pretty traumatic/stressful unfortunately!) Anyway, in early February this year I developed a really painful right arm/shoulder that I felt wasn't fibro-related. Local chiropractor said

Follow up
I had a follow up appt with my Dr yesterday. Told her I am down from 10 mg ropinorole to 3 mg with the help of 25 mg tramadol when needed. She thought that was great but does not want me to use tramadol. She said it causes Rls. She gave me gabapentin 300 mg. to try instead of Tramadol. I asked about

I had got my Mirapexin down to 1/4 of a tab and stopped taking it Friday. I was on a low dose, 0.26 mg fir 6 yrs. The 3 days since then have been a nightmare. I cannot sit or stand just have to walk. Have some respite in the mornings. I am taking Tramadol. Should I re introduce the 1/4 tab until I can

Chronic pain
I was diagnosed with bulging discs and osteoarthritis of the spine a few months ago. I've tried lots of painkillers other medication including tramadol, gabapentin, pregabalin, naproxen, nothing has helped. I was given codydramol which helped taking the edge off the pain. Recently I've got numbness and

DEXTROMETHOROHAN and RLS
I am possibly going to be taking Avuelity for MDD . I was doing some research on it because of the RLS. There was one article of a woman with RLS who was given Dextromethirphan for a cough and got significant reduction in her symptoms, to the point she stopped Gaba and kept going with the dextromethorphan

Is Tramadol effective right away?
After seeing a new neurologist late in April, I started on clonazepam at bedtime. After a week of not having any results other than being way groggier than ever during my walking sessions through the night, I was told to double the dose...still no lessening of my RLS symptoms. Yesterday I was switched

Various Questions
Hi I'm now 3 weeks off pramipexole and started Gabapentin a week ago. The first 2 of those weeks I was in hospital having surgery for something else and recovering with opioid painkillers which removed the need for anything else. The 3rd week I started gabapentin but I don't have the levels right

In my 6th year of PMR and at 7.5mg after a few flares and hiccups. I had a cataract op five weeks ago. All ok but after three weeks felt pretty rough and chronic tiredness. Living Hell
I first experienced RLS about 1982. I had no idea what was wrong with me so I just put it down to some sort of allergy. As the attacks were quite intermittent, I didn't seek any help at the time. After about a year though. The frequency and severity of the attacks increased manyfold and was now causing

Links between TSH and RLS. Have I found my cause in sub clinical hypothyroidism due to autoimmune disease Hashimoto syndrome?
As my RLS was under pretty good control I decided to see how I would go if I stopped my Tramadol 50-100mg daily, and tried CBD/THC oil instead. The answer was badly. My symptoms came back to the point I barely slept for 6 nights. And of course I also had withdrawal symptoms to deal with. As most of

Hi, As if I thought things could not get any worse, I have just been diagnosed with sciatica, having suffered with the PMR for the past year and wondered if anyone has suffered from this having PMR as well, so if they are related or not. ? Would it be possible also that could be a PMR flare ? although

Warfarin and Acetaminophen ? Are there any interaction please ?!
Hello, I'm just wondering which pain medications would not interact with Warfarin please? I know anti-inflammatories are not ok. What about Panadol (Acetaminophen/Paracetamol), is this okay to take while being on Warfarin? Appreciate any information you can provide, Many thanks Rosegardens
