Excessive sleepiness
Hi friends My mother who is 75 was diagnosed with PD in 2004. She was on Syndopa plus 4 a day for past 4 years (with no major symptoms) , untill few months back when she started feeling extreme fatigue. Her neurologist increased her dosage to 5 and half tables in a day and a syndopa CR in the night.

Slowing down on Ropinirole withdrawal
Sorry not to have posted my report on withdrawing from Ropinirole at the beginning of the week but a) things weren’t that great and b) I was so busy that I didn’t have a spare minute before needing to be away for meetings for three days. Things haven’t been great as Tramadol, on the three occasions

PMR or not?
Hello, I am new to this disease (I think). I have been put on 15mg of Prednisolone a day, still experiencing a bit of soreness, very stiff in the mornings and have some days worse than others. My G.P. has now said that she does not think that I have PMR. I am very confused as I had been back & forward

WHICH PILL ?? Klonopin OR Norco ?? Panic Attacks/ Anxiety “OR” Pain-Lumbar & Cervical & Trilingual Neuralgia
For years I have been on anxiety medicine along with pain medication. Now, with the new federal law...I’m having to choose between the two (2) invisible illnesses - I have always did the right thing & not try & trick the system & I always watched did the right thing & would even have extras left over

Hashimotos T3 & Pain killers
I’ve suffering with severe pain from bursitis in my hips and shoulders. I see an orthopaedic surgeon Thursday but want to go prepared as to what pain killers I can take and if I have to wait 4 hours after taking T3? I wait 4 hours at the moment to take aspirin and paracetamol for my constant migraine

Exclusive use of Kratom
Hello everyone. Wanting some advice about kratom use. I have quite successfully been rotating it monthly with codeine and tramadol for some time. However ,sadly, the opioids have stopped working. And I am wondering if anyone has been using kratom successfully long term on it's own? x

Cancer
Hi everyone I know haven’t posted for a while but I just need to talk to someone. My lovely husband of 33 years was diagnosed with lung cancer yesterday. I half expected it but when they tell you, it is still like being hit by a train. The whole process only took a week. Had chest x Ray on Monday, bloods

Really tired of this constant horrible pain.
Hi to all of you. Sorry to moan, but I am just so fed up with this awful pain just about everywhere. The main places are my lower back (so bad that I can't stand for more than about a minute), my knees (I can only walk a few steps) and my shoulders and arms (which crunch and clunk) and I can't even put

Please can you give me some advice about seeing my GP?
I'm quite nervous about seeing my ( quite new to me ) GP tomorrow for the first time since he diagnosed PMR 6 weeks ago. He started me on 15mgs then increased it to 25mg 6 days later and then another GP ( couldn't get to see mine) increased it again to 30mg 2 weeks after that. That was the only time

Tramadol
I’ve been following this web site for about a year now and have written about how taking Tramadol was working for me. RLS for 20 plus years and this is the first time I’ve been having a good nights sleep. I never read of anyone else using this method for RLS. So is there anyone else who can talk about

So worried about the future
Hi All This is a basic recap of my horrors with RLS I have had RSL for many years and originally look low dose up to 1 mg with Gabapentin. I refused large dose of Gaba (about 1200 mg which I felt made me hostile and I thought extremely agitated. I had an appointment at Kings Neurology Department
