Greetings from the IC 🛋 👋
However
yoga
🧘🏼♀️ is proving a bit tricky as my foot doesn’t react well to down-dog, and we all know Adriene’s love for that pose, so I’m having to creatively adapt a bit! I’m going to try and post each week and just say hello, with a photo from one of my walks.

Well done! Awesome! YWA Move!
Doing some hand stretches that I started with my rowing has also made it easier to do
yoga
poses without blocks. So HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who stuck with it, is still sticking (😉) and is coming regularly to the mat. Hope to see everyone on our future collective mats!

Getting closer.... 🏃♀️🏃♀️
Signed up to a
yoga
class which I thought would help with the running. First one tonight... I may never make it off the mat after my ‘long’ run this afternoon. Xx

Looking for feedback: should I consider meds again? Change drs?
Do ballet and
yoga
(at beginner levels, but consistently); go on the treadmill several times a week; walk the dog; and started adding some weight training.

Fourth time a char?
Good diet, good outdoor exercise, low stress, lots of
yoga
, no booze, no coffee, 68, etc. Fifth cardioversion coming up 2/15; fourth ablation scheduled 3/29. Wish me luck Learnings- heart rhythm issues are totally idiopathic; drugs do not cure; neither do procedures.

*Sensitive* - 5th transfer update
I also saw a fertility nutritionist in Jan and had lots of omega 3, probiotics and exercise leading up to transfer (lots of
yoga
and some short runs). Something has worked! Alas, I also haven't had a coffee since I started meds.

WHINGE & TURMERIC & HONEY ADVICE
Have suggested the college try a meditation class and basic
yoga
both of which I want to try. Having read about turmeric and honey as supplements to help arthritis and seen ads for turmeric tablets what do you folks think, good, works for some not others, don't bother, go for it.

Anti inflammatory diet
So new year new me, I’m thinking of trying an anti inflammatory diet,
yoga
and rest. Anyone had any success.? Anyone else have a rash? It’s not psoriasis but raised red blotches that fade to purple. Non itchy.

20 minute yin yoga for heart opening
This is the first of a trio of 20 minute yin
yoga
sessions. For you in the comfort of your own home. No props needed, unless you like to use cushions or a folded blanket to sit on. Yin
yoga
is a passive form of practise. Inviting cultivation of stillness. Not always easy!

I meditate & do
yoga
, read and walk daily. Sometimes go for drives to walk near water (allowing for social distancing due to covid). I remain positive that I will stay strong & beat this again. 🥰

20 minutes yin yoga for releasing hips
Hips can be a notoriously interesting area of the body to explore. I know for me, having had two #kidneytransplant surgeries now (one in 1997, and the second in 2019), that as the single donated kidney is placed in the front body - in the iliac crest, releasing long held tension, including emotional
