I am having hypothyroid symptoms which are becoming worse. Tinnitus, tendinopathy, loss of muscle/strength, brain fog, weight gain, osteo arthritis, dry brittle hair, loss of body hair, air hunger, tiredness, don't have the energy output to walk fast for long etc.
My results in August 2021 are -
CRP 2.05 under 5, ferritin 50.9 13-150, magnesium 0.86 0.66 to 0.99, T4 total 77.2 66-181, Free T4 13 12-22, Free T3 5.44 3.1-6.8, anti-thyroidperoxidase abs 53 under 34, anti-thyroglobulin 29 under 115, Vit D 140 75-200.
I take 3.5 NDT per day. I am wondering if going onto levothyroxine and maybe adding T3 would be better. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Feeling a lot older than my 65 years.

Why think about such a dramatic change? Levo + T3 is not easy I can tell you. Why not try increasing by 1/4 grain and seeing how you feel in a few weeks?
NDT is the very first replacement for those who had a dysfunctional thyroid gland. Unfortunately it was withdrawn by those we'd expect to know more than many members of this forum.
Their decision would seem to point to 'not sufficient experience or knowledge of clinical symptoms nor how best to relieve them'!
It contains all of the hormones a healthy thyroid gland would do and is made from animals' thyroid glands. Levothyroxine is synthetic T4 only and is supposed to convert to T3.
I would try adding the addition of a 1/4 tablet for a few weeks and see if it improves your health.
I assume you take thyroid hormones on an empty fasting stomach with one glass of water and wait an hour before you eat?
