My post is lost?

I wrote a post and thought I'd sent in but can't find it now. So a repost:

I saw Dr Bortan today for a Botox treatment of my tremoring left arm. She asked how the Botox is helping. I said there's no wrinkles on my left arm. Then I mentioned I can't do a pull-up because my grip is weak. She suggested I video myself. Then I asked about Nilotinib. She knew of the drug but found it didn't work well enough and had side effects. Then I asked about red or infrared light therapy. She said she'd never heard of it. So I gave her a lecture on it. I said PD is a mitochondrial dysfunction syndrome and light therapy can stimulate the mitochondria to produce more ATP. By shining the 810 nm light the inner membrane is activated and starts the Krebs Cycle ending in ATP production. She said she'd research it for our next checkup in March.

I'm guessing you wouldn't recommend BOTOX for tremors

I didn't see much change in my tremors. Maybe less force. The injections are painless except for the needle puncture. One treatment lasts 3 months. For me it was worth trying mainly because I got to ask the doctor questions about other treatments. She used a device that measured the force of the tremor. She said it showed improvement in the tremors. As I mentioned she said she'd research red and near infra red light therapy before my next treatment in March. Because of my age the shots don't cost me anything. It's another reason to continue them.
