Has anyone found that they have gained weight with this. My Gp advising me to stop as contains steroid and liable to cause weight gain. I have only met this GP once and he talks the usual rubbish but as I am very overweight I thought I had check. I am actually too scared to weight myself.

I saw my Rheumy today. It seems she wants me to continue on Rituxan but also go back on MTX injections. I must admit I am torn. I delayed Rituxan for a month and it did not trigger a flare. My inflammation remains low but the pain and fatigue are still extreme. My range of motion is very limited. She

I might have overdosed
Over the last two weeks I increased my Levo dose to 200mg from 175mg off my own bat. Although I felt no different on this dose I did start having very severe panic attacks ( I have a history of this and take paroxetine to assist with these and haven't had any for a year I think) My question is how shall

Omg feel worse than when I smoked
Asthmatic and finally packed in the cigs on the 29th June so 8 days ago . I've been the docs today as I'm really struggling to breathe normally . She was a lovely doc but said she didn't know what to suggest and asked me what I thought ๐๐ we settled on prednisolone as I'm literally so breathless.

Feeling Guilty
My Husband was diagnosed with Picks Disease 9 months ago. I am still working full time and feel so guilty about it. I blame me for him talking to himself due to him being on his own. I cant afford to stop working due to husband not working for years due to lots of other health issues. Crohns Disease.

What alternatives are there to Levothyroxine?
Hi there It has taken me two years on Levothyroxine to realise that it isn't suited to me. Chronic lower back pain that leaves me virtually unable to move - particularly at night. And the weight gain that is static. It doesnt matter whether I eat like a king (which I don't of course!) or starve myself

Side effects
I don't think the side effects of smoking are highlighted clearly enough. Of course I know about lung damage and everything else but the one thing that was never clearly pointed out was potential tooth loss. They call it gum disease but it isn't really is it? โ it's loss of jaw bone which makes the gums
