The great diet debate
I was interested to see the post about possibly setting up a section to deal with diet and weight loss issues, recipes etc., so have put together a few thoughts. (this is Moffy with her serious head on for once!) There is no magic cure for overweight, except maybe bariatric surgery, which in my opinion

Keep On Running!
I started my second week today! To be honest I can't believe I have stuck with it but I'm now really enjoying it. I had brain surgery last Dec and had been completely sedentary for six month, I also gave up smoking in Oct so my weight rocketed and I went up three dress sizes. I had always been active

The morning after the day before
Yesterday was Wk 1 Day 1. Been preparing with loads of power walking, losing weight, but still got out of bed and thought: Hello calves, didn't expect that. But overall feeling good. I'm half way on my weight loss journey but still have another 1st 6lbs to go. The monkey I've got to get off

Update to eye pain and distorted vision
I told him about my incident with the eye over the weekend and the residule
loss
of
vision
and pain in eye. Also told him my legs feel like lots of bees inside them and left leg not going where I put it. His response was that he hinks I had a migraine that lasted half hour, anyone heard of that?

Health Minister Howe listens to our concerns about vision loss caused by late diagnosis of GCA
Yesterday was a major milestone for PMRGCAuk because we made a second visit to Whitehall to meet the Health Minister, Earl Howe. Our president, Prof Bhaskar Dasgupta, trustees Kate Gilbert and Dorothy Byrne, a member of our medical advisory panel, Brian Bourke, and Lord Wills, discussed with the minister
