No Answers; clock running out before I see latest doctor regarding prolonged, successful 18-year Coumadin use for clot to brain
January 1998, had stroke to the brain ( a BLOOD CLOT) affected my field of

. Placed on Coumadin (warfarin) while continuing to take Procardia XL and Vasotec. Hypertension was one of the culprits.

Please could you help me with my blood test results. Feeling weak, loss of weight, tired and poorly for a while now. What is LUC?
Please could you advise me on my results attached, as the doctor said they are fine but I see some results are low end and high end. Also the range for LUC on my tests are 0.00 - 0.16 and mine are 0.19? I had glandula fever years ago and I remember being told on one set of blood results that is was still

Hypothyroidism and weight gain
I am new here. I have hypothyroidism and also empty sella syndrome. I never knew what a weight problem was until I suddenly seemed to put almost 4 stone in weight on about 10 years ago. My endocrinologist said she will start me on T3 does any one know if it will help with my weight problem?

Weight loss and B12
Is it true that B12 injections can cause weight loss.... I'm a bit concerned because I've been on a weight loss diet after gaining a lot of weight before and after major surgery a year and a half ago... If it's true that the injections can cause weight loss... Then I'll have to stop my diet... as I don't

Spinal fusion L5-S1 for spondylolisthesis, pain worsening
Hi there, I had spinal fusion with instrumentation in Feb 2015 for grade 2 spondylolisthesis as all other avenues had been explored but to no avail. After a lengthy recovery things started to improve but then slowly worsened. Scans showed that excess bone had grown trapping a sciatic nerve which accounted

Bariatric surgery or Whole30
My gastroenterologist wants me to have bariatric surgery to lose weight. He doesn't think I can do it on my own, but I have been able to drop some weight and lower my liver enzymes by following Whole30. I don't want surgery! Anyone else in this situation of trying to prove your doctor wrong?

Raising money for Myelopathy
We speak to fellow sufferer and artist Margot Miller from Putney, Vermont. USA. Margot was diagnosed with myelopathy in August of 2007 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Fla. where she underwent four emergency spinal fusions. "I'd say I'm traumatized by them and that they happened without a second

I'm new here. I'm British but live in Spain(Madrid)
It has been a shock as I thought my gradual
loss
of
vision
was due to cataracts and was preparing for the operation. My specialist now thinks I would not get much benefit from a cataract operation.

Has anyone found that they have gained weight with this. My Gp advising me to stop as contains steroid and liable to cause weight gain. I have only met this GP once and he talks the usual rubbish but as I am very overweight I thought I had check. I am actually too scared to weight myself.

What to do?
I saw my Rheumy today. It seems she wants me to continue on Rituxan but also go back on MTX injections. I must admit I am torn. I delayed Rituxan for a month and it did not trigger a flare. My inflammation remains low but the pain and fatigue are still extreme. My range of motion is very limited. She
