Hi I'm Tracey, 53 suffer with underactive thyroid since may 2015. I have Fibromyalgia since October 2014 & also have had 2 spinal fusions in 2000 & same place in 2012, the 2nd one has left me with nerve damage which is worse pain than before fusion. I also have degenerative spinal disease.
At the moment it's the flushes that are getting me down. It's got to the point where I sweat so much that my face drips!! Not sure if this is thyroid or fibro problem but definitely not Menopause. I've finished that.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Tracey1163 Could you give us a little more info regarding medication and dose/blood test results etc..? I would hazard a guess that your fibro is actually under treated hypothyroidism in disguise but until we know a little bit more history it's difficult to advise x
No it's not but many people, myself included, have been wrongly given a fibro diagnosis. If someone isn't being adequately treated for hypo but have been dx fibro it may be they just need an increase in thyroid meds/vit deficiencies etc..
