Eye Problems related to Pregabalin ?
I have recently
loss
my peripheral
vision
the doctors have done an MRI scan and all clear, I'm back to the doctors tomorrow to discuss the problem but it occurred to me that blurred vision is one of the side effects listed for pregabalin and thought it might be possible that it could go further.

Is my extreme fatigue and dropping off to sleep when travelling a little PMR or...
So when people say they have fatigue, it is more on PMR forums than on moyamoya forums, although they have it too... but I guess they mention the things like not being able to speak, paralysis,
loss
of
vision
(yep that happens too).

Selegiline and the CHEESE REACTION
I've been taking Selegiline for the past two months and have had halfway decent results with it. Not great but slight improvement all around. I am taking 5mg two times per day. In recent weeks Ive been getting bad headaches, whereas I never got them in the past. After some careful figuring, I figured

Depression and weight loss
Does anyone else struggle with weight loss when they are feeling down? I’ve found that when my mood is low it doesn’t matter how good I am about counting calories the weight either stalls or starts to creep up. I’ve battled with my weight since childhood. I ballooned up to 320lbs (I’m only 5’3) and

Anaesthesia
For those for whom the matter is of any interest, I discovered that the anaesthetic used by Manchester Royal Eye Hospital is proxymetacaine (which they generally seem to just refer to as "proxy"). They do not "stock" tetracaine. I know some people, like me, are keen to know how effective the anaesthetic

Four packs away from stopping
Hi. I have smoked for 29 years. I have four packs left and am then going to give up with patches and tabs. Main reasons for giving up are the cost and that I am in the early stages of COPD. I have tried pretty much everything before to give up, excluding Zyban or hypnotherapy. My main reason for smoking

New to it all
62 yo male here; was diagnosed with CLL in November of 2018. After three sets of bloodwork, a CT and a boner marrow biopsy Im told I continue on watch and wait. My only symptom is extreme fatigue which precludes me from working 8 hours a day. I should note that I’m also a long time bariatric patient.

I do contract

Methotrexate. To have or not to have? That is the question.
I’ve had other steroid related problems as well - insomnia, hair
loss
,
vision
problems, high BP, numbness in fingers and toes, brain fog, etc etc. Bones ok though. So I’ve been resisting Methotrexate and I won’t up the Prednisolone permanently. I do up it for a few days when I’m bad.

Pain 10 years after a spinal fusion L5/S1
Hi All, Has anyone suffered an overwhelming increase in back pain following a spinal fusion? I had mine 10 years ago now and although not 100%....had been doing alright in my retirement. I had been a nurse for 40 years and although I tried couldn’t return to work comfortably, so decided to take early

If you are Akinetic-rigidity Dominant PD then be aware of medications and supplements increasing Acetylcholine
⁉️Today I started taking celery seed extract and experienced an unprecedented dystonia. I searched and noticed; “Celery is a cholinesterase inhibitor. It inhibits the acetylcholinesterase enzyme from breaking down acetylcholine, thereby increasing both the level and duration of action of the neurotransmitter
