Hi all I'm super new to this site. I was diagnosed 3 years ago and it's been downhill ever since. I'm now seeing a psychiatrist for my mental health and he suggested I go back to my rheumatologist and ask to be rechecked. He thinks I may have something else either Lupus or something else. I do contract work 3 days and sleep the others, but working is getting harder and harder. I was also hla 27b positive. I would love some support. I'm so down and feel guilty all the time. I'm 48 and have always had a huge career. I have had many surgeries inc spinal fusion, hernia repair (x2). Ileo cystoplasty and many other smaller procedures.
In a way I'm hoping they find something because my fibromalgyia is uncontrollable right now. I can't seem to find the right medication for me. I'm on Morphgesic and duloxetine coming off venlafaxine which did help initially.
Thank you in advance.

Hi What has helped me was tramadol I can lead a normal life have been on it for about 8 years. You must also look at diet. also take probiotics and magnesium which I believe helps. Tramadol takes pain and fatigue away and can feel normal again
Thank you, actually it's been so long since I took my magnisium, I'll restart that immediately. Unfortunately with duloxetine I can't take tramadol. Thank you so much for response. Xxx
Sorry that your health seems to be going backwards. The main thing that has helped me with fibro is Pregablin (lyrica) but I know it doesn't suit everyone. Unfortunately, I had to accept that I would have to give up work which was a big wrench as I loved my job but a least know it enables me to rest on the bad days and pace my life more so it has made the fibro easier to cope with. I do hope that you find something that helps you.x
