need help with diagnostics

May be you can help me with diagnostics or at least tell what path to follow and what tests to do.

My first symptoms were slight fever and chronic sore throat and laryngitis. This condition lasted for 5 years, then new symptoms like muscle weakness - numbness of 4th and 5th finger, could not raise left arm, and skin pbrms - ecsema hair loss- appeared.

Now I suffer from impaired hearing and vision, migraines, memory troubles, disorders with speech (forget names), writing - orthographic mistakes, numbness of hands and feet and facial muscles.

I searched the web and it looks like autoimmune brain inflammation, only I do not know how to make accurate diagnostics, what test to do etc.

Hi Zazi717,

I think you need to start with your GP who may then refer you onto a consultant. Although you may be spot on with your diagnosis, until you've had a qualified medical person examine you, then you are only guessing.

I hope you get successful treatment, whatever it turns out to be.

You need a brain MRI and lumbar puncture (spinal tap) to rule out MS and other diseases as well as blood tests for autoimmune diseases and Lyme disease. Mine all came back normal and was diagnosed with FND
