Hello First Post in 3 Years
Keep
Swimming
one day at a time. I turned 40 on August 9th and now I am worried about the dreaded menopause. I have been very itchy over the last few days and I read it's a sign it's happening. I do have 2 cats and we have fleaed them but we see little black fleas or flies around the house.

PSYCHOLOGICAL TREATMENT. - SLEEP HYGIENE
. -- Sport: Going for a walk or
swimming
, or doing yoga have been shown to be sleep-promoting activities, provided they are done in moderation, without excessive fatigue and that their practice is before mid-afternoon.

I may miss my first ever run tomorrow 😬
I am off lido
swimming
after work so will at least be doing a bit of not sitting at my desk. My conscience will be clear whatever my decision is 😁

Enjoyable Walk today :-)
We found some ducklings who were stuck outside their pond area, so we helped them find their way back to the pond and their Mum - and they were happy to be back
swimming
in the pond. :-) I love the sweet peas and other flowers that were in someone's garden - so I took several photos of it.

New here. Just did W5R3
I've done sports in the past - gymnastics (as a kid), martial arts,
swimming
- but always detested running! But a few weeks ago I realised that running was the most efficient way to get fit so I started C25K..... and today I ran further than I've ever run in my life. Wow.

HUHM v10K Race Report + Signed up for "Real" HM
I had managed a few short runs (+ some hiking,
swimming
and even paddle boarding: so some good cross training at least), but today was my first longer run for a couple of weeks: the HUHM virtual 10k.

pools are now allowed to Open. Social distancing must be kept, so lanes 1,3,5 will not have water in them.' One that I heard a while back now.... A group of Children were playing, a Game of Cricket, in the street.

Swimmer not runner...
Not once in those 10 weeks have I ever suffered with stiff muscles yet first time back
swimming
yesterday and my back is sooooo sore I can hardly walk 😢 I’m hoping lots of stretches and a hot bath will fix it by the morning as I’ve got my 3rd consolidation run planned 🤞🤞🤞

Real holiday complaints from brits abroad, and my attempt at becoming a pescatarian !
However, no one told us we had to bring our own
swimming
clothes and towels.” 3. “The beach was too sandy. We had to shower when we got back to the hotel room.” 4.

I’m planning to do some light
swimming
today. Is this too much? Or sensible to get moving a bit and take my mind off the problem?

The value of good stretching
I was a seriously doubtful starter after tweaking my back
swimming
yesterday morning. After many stretching sessions yesterday I woke up this morning with a little pain but I could definitely walk so I thought great I’ll get myself into the woods but I’ll just walk.

Old Ike
Lots of lakes and
swimming
. He can be a bit tired if he wants. He is 84 in dog years after all, but still enjoys his walks.

Back at work
Next weekend will again be interesting because as of yesterday we're starting up with some of our exercise classes, but with limited numbers
Swimming
pools are still a work in progress as we're guided by PHE and Swim England, with regard how they are going to work

lower back pain
I started feeling dull pain over a year ago on my lower back right side while
swimming
. It has now grown to the fact it spreads all over the back down the back of the legs and front of thighs. I have had an M.R.I scan which I was discharged afterwards and told minor compression.

Knee swollen at end of week 3 :-(
I am loving the feeling that doing this programme gives me and don't really want to switch to something low impact like
swimming
, as I just dont enjoy it in the same way.

Post ablation palpitations?
(Pre-procedure they were induced by running/jumping/
swimming
/heat) Now its pretty constant but not as severe. Will this go away, just part of healing? Has anyone else experienced this?

Bio-oil - is it worth using?
I feel quite anxious about other people seeing my chest and leg scars in, say, a
swimming
pool so I was wondering if oils like Bio-Oil help or should I just learn to love my scars!
