Average times
I’d also like to mix in cycling and
swimming
, when the pools reopen. I’m 72, is there an online source of age related times for my chosen distances. I’d like to use the average times as initial goals. Does my plan sound reasonable or would you suggest something different?

Sadness at seeing the other woman in my Fathers life
I have started going
swimming
to assist with the isolation but as I leave the gym and walk in town this is when I see the other woman with her son carrying on with her life which makes me feels worse . My Mother who is far away put all the responsibility on me and now all her properties are empty .

New and needing direction
I changed to gym,
swimming
and yoga and continued to eat healthily so weight remained fairly constant.

1k fast - 1k slow -1k swimming- repeat!!
As an experiment the approach worked surprisingly well and I lasted the distance but at times it felt more like a
swimming
session than a run 🏊♂️ 😂!!

Agony - PMR Flare or Something Mechanical
So it may be that I have done something like trap a nerve or damaged a tendon
swimming
and ignored it and overworked it - or it could be that my PMR didn’t like me overdoing it and it is the polymyalgia playing up. Either way I am in complete and utter agony. No sleep for 4 nights.

DEFEAT, HEAT AND STUPIDITY
Because I was working nights and my son has
swimming
I needed to fit a 14th run in this month (I couldn't leave it on 13) so I ventured out at yes, you've guessed it at 1443 for what I hoped would be a 6km run. I knew it was hot and I knew it would be brutal but I just wanted to test myself.

Making Progress!
I am doing lots of cross training with 1hour:15 mins plus of daily exercises and 5k dog walks, and
swimming
will be starting again. Steadily does it, but that would be a future for my running which could be satisfying. 👍👍🐌

Flare ...I believe?
When I woke up this morning , it dawned on me , that apart from my normal morning of
swimming
, I also went to the Supermarket and carried out a very heavy box full of Bottles ., and the of course into my House. Would this in your opinion be a spring board for my I suppose FLARE?

Strange one: ear bleed
Managed to avoid ear infections for about 2+ years now (miracle) due to avoiding yeast & using
swimming
ear plugs to shower. It’s all been quiet (no pun intended) but yesterday I woke to my ear bleeding.

Pelvic floor muscle strain (pubic muscle)
I start
swimming
sessions without putting much stress to my feet.. however all the happiness of getting my life back flew away, since I felt again sharp pain at the left side of the pubic muscle when walked and the ultrasound that I had a few days ago showed that the strain in the same place is 4 milimetres

any suggestion for a choice of bone building drug to take?
My problem is I am not exercising properly anymore (though I used to until that Z=-3.8 measurement exercise daily, but a lot was
swimming
or riding pushbikes which I found out do not build bones...anyway PMR is not too good and I spend a load of time in bed..sometimes unable to roll over or lift my doona

Back home again and my garden was there to greet me.
Well I am back home from spending a week of heaven alone in the Welsh cottage of my dreams mountain walking, wild
swimming
and cycling alone. After returning we had just a day to get the garden ready for a BBQ with friends, socially distanced ofcourse.

Consolidation Run 3
v=0TDfBBXfbjY It basically allows me to lock the keys in the car securely and go
swimming
, cycling, running, etc, without worrying where the key is and keeping it dry, etc.

What a difference a year makes!
I went back to my default sport of
swimming
about two weeks before lockdown so that was short lived. C25k was the way to go! So it’s rather apt that one year later I finished my last run! Job done ✅.

Monitoring the basics
After diagnosis, I was advised to stop
swimming
due to the risk of infection (major blow to me as I have been a regular swimmer for several years and this was a major part of my fitness regime). Due to doubling lymphocytic time (over a 6 month period) it was decided to start treatment.

Hello!
I've never been a runner, even though I pushed myself to join a mums netball team 4 years ago, I then moved to Devon, & have intermittently done cycling,
swimming
& walking but not much else! I was challenged to undertake the couch to 5k by someone who is also doing it to help his weight loss!

Very mild exercises causing bronchiectasis exacerbations?
. (* By mild exercising I mean that during the exercises I had no or little breathlessness -- e.g. running just for a few minutes or
swimming
for less than 200 meters) (In case you want to know more about the details of my case, I have a longer version posted on the hub of "Bronchiectasis Support": https
