The value of good stretching

I’m so pleased ...I managed my 3rd consolidation run. I was a seriously doubtful starter after tweaking my back swimming yesterday morning. After many stretching sessions yesterday I woke up this morning with a little pain but I could definitely walk so I thought great I’ll get myself into the woods but I’ll just walk. I did the five minute warm up walk and felt good so off I set at a very gentle trot. I managed the full 30 minutes albeit at a slower pace than any snail. Still, I did it and I’ve definitely learned the value of good stretching 👍👍👍

Good on you! It's a bit anxiety- inducing coming back from any injury, even a tweaked bit, so I'm glad it's worked out well.

Well done, you! Backs can make you very nervous, can't they. I take such time with my post-run stretches every time as I broke my back many years ago and have a truly dreadful core. Take it easy!
