A Meditation on My Recent Diagnosis and Constructed Narratives
I had been
swimming
against the current for as long as I could remember–fielding unintentionally wounding questions from friends and family on a regular basis. "How have you been?" "What are you doing?" "Still?" "You're running behind?" "What's wrong?" "Couldn't you just try harder?"

Chlorine and bronchiectasis
My health has improved in this time....walking more, staying isolated and not mixing and not
swimming
...which I love. I could go back to
swimming
now but I am quite anxious about it. My question is...do you think that chlorine affects bronchiectasis, in a non positive way?

Only just.
Was really surprised as got up this morning feeling quite stiff as my little sis and I went on a cross country bike run (first for a few months) as our usual other hobby of wild
swimming
had been cancelled due to blue green algae in the reservoir 😱👎.

Why did they let me off the ADT hook so easily?
I've been tolerating it well but of course it's
swimming
upstream of course. So he says, 'well I think you can quit that now'. He also said I should contact my MO who's running the trial and tell him what I'd just said. So I did. And the MO says THE SAME THING to me....

Resuming pre-ablation exercise...how long to wait?
How soon to begin
swimming
/water aerobics after ablation? The EP said after a week I should be able to resume
swimming
. I've been very active up until my 2nd ablation on the 30th.

WK9 R3 done 😀
am so chuffed that I have finally completed the C25K challenge, I’m a little off running the 5k in 30 minutes yet but I’m not far off (4.3k) I started it as a challenge to myself, and although I wasn’t a complete couch potato, I am 57 and had generally kept myself fit over the last few years with

Now and then we would go
swimming
or kayaking in the lake nearby only to be interrupted by helicopters scooping up buckets of water to dump on the fires. Didn’t normally happen years ago. These days it seems to be a routine thing. Now it is almost 1730 and almost totally dark from the smoke.

what vitamins, minerals are good for joint pain linked to hypo.?
But I'd also started
swimming
. I hesitate to get it again because it's expensive. But now, even
swimming
doesn't relieve joint pains. that is, I'm happy in the water, but as soon as I'm out ...( like the little mermaid syndrome, lol) Any wise words from you helpful, wonderful souls?

Taper Success
I've also started open water
swimming
. Now we all know that getting cold standing around doesn't help however actively exercising in the cold has worked wonders. Really reduces residual aches and pains.

weight
dosages etc etc. i was wondering what i could do to lose weight as i find it so difficult to get motivated when i’m having a flare up or feeling fatigued. it’s so annoying wanting to be slimmer yet your body doesn’t want you to exercise, and even when it does it’s not for long. i want to start going back

Hello First Post in 3 Years
Keep
Swimming
one day at a time. I turned 40 on August 9th and now I am worried about the dreaded menopause. I have been very itchy over the last few days and I read it's a sign it's happening. I do have 2 cats and we have fleaed them but we see little black fleas or flies around the house.
