How I reinvented myself after PMR diagnosis
The one joy that I did have is that I rediscovered my love of
swimming
and I found out that not only did it help my mental health, but being in the water was the one time when I didn't feel pain. A little of my old stamina started to come back.

I ran out of hydroxocobalamin 4 days ago and the effect is a return of the difficulty breathing which I evaluate by walking a little ways up a local mountain on the same trail or
swimming
. I am going to try hydroxocobalamin SL and see if that works to try and cut down on expense.

Worthing Parkrun
We decided to go to the
swimming
pool to use their loos which were being cleaned so sat and chatted. Sandie1961 met us outside and we walked over to the start. First there was a talk for newbies and tourists, due to the string winds I heard about half of that.

Anyone on biologics and suffering leg ulcers
I enjoy
swimming
but haven’t been able to swim since last July, and wonder if the wounds may heal quicker off my meds. I’d appreciate others thoughts.

Sadly
swimming
is over for this year due to the sun not being out long enough to heat the lake. I could still swim in my trisuit for a couple of weeks. That takes more energy and time getting ready and keeping my trisuit dry.

Thinking of going back on Sertraline but my partner makes it seem like i’m being weak or lazy
I said to him you know I go to the gym and
swimming
etc on and off for periods but it never actually helps with my mood.. he said “you always seem happier to me.” I told him I’m not and sometimes things arent what they seem!

Musings on stress relievers – I know what might help to alleviate stress, but why don’t I do them?
And I hate the chlorine at the local
swimming
pool. Whinge over…
Slow down
. Also a tough one for me in particular, but if I can manage to do that then my stress levels drop with it.

muscle wasting
looks a better shape and a more normal size , where as the other one looks swollen in a way, I also have some varicus veins on the big leg which I didn’t have before so I’m wondering if that would cause fluid build up and not as good blood flow which is why I’m not losing fat on that leg , I do

Into each life some rain must fall…
No pretty pics this week- but instead will post some unusual sights such as photos of a bus, floating sideways down the street, the completely flooded international airport so that it looks like a shallow Olympic
swimming
pool!.

Made it Switzerland to see my son!
But I felt very nervous to set off since this cape is kicking my butt with HFS… without being able to walk much, I have kept fit for this trip by
swimming
laps and using my ebike… but still this is a lot for a 63 year old MBC with all that I have going on.

antidepressants and physical fitness
I have always been fit and have practiced rock climbing, weightlifting and
swimming
all my life, among other sports. I am 47, but I think that’s not old. Could the antidepressants be the culprit? Has anyone else experienced something similar ?

Another Echolight Scan versus Dexa Numbers
Sorry but my head is
swimming
. Not sure if I should ignore the Echolight results. I am 5'3" and weight 128. I've heard Dexa is not as accurage on small boned people. I've increased my exercise. Can anyone suggest a good supplement? So many out there, I am totally confused.
