Hi Denni

I finished radio/chemotherapy for a GBM in April last year. The first and second scans afterwards showed a small circular “anomaly” which didn’t grow or change but it had completely vanished by the 3rd scan (7 months after the radio/chemo and just before completing the 6 chemo cycles). Hopefully yours will be similar! John.

H, I wanted to tell you that my MRI results of the tumour is growing slowly. Since sept after having 80% tumour removed. It has grown at 1.5cm. Which I think is very good. If I can maintain this I will be happy and hopeful.

I’m pleased to hear you’re comfortable with the results. Keep positive and I wish you all the best.

Hi Denni60, sorry to read about another 'blob' on the last scan.

I have same situation.

Completed cycle 1 of radio/chemo then scan showed another white blob in another part of my brain. Very distressing as it has come from nowhere. Previous scans prior to radio/chemo showed only the original tumour that was resected last December.

I am now on Lomustine (6week cycle) to see if that can slow progression.

Please let me know how you get on and any advice you can give from your own experience?

Hi Bobby. After I finished radiotherapy this white mark showed up on the MRI. I know it was about 1cm. It has grown now at 1.5cm. The oncologist said it's slow growing. So they suggested two months of Chemo. They want to do another MRI after this months Chemo. Also they want to check the blood supply to my brain. They said they may put me o stronger Chemo. So really I should possibly know in May. I must say I do feel at times when moving around. But have changed life style. I go to Kew gardens for walking exercise and swim 16 lengths once a week. Anything to get me out and about everyone keeps saying how good I look. It's quite hard really to compare yourself to other cases. I do have troublesome pain in my right eye. And it streams tears all the time. Have had this since the tumour was diagnosed. The oncologist does not think it related. But I think it is. Bobby I will let you know. As I go along on my path of health.
