GP gave me prescription of B12 despite range at > 2000!

I was expecting a conversation to be had after recent blood tests (even the nurse rolled her eyes at having my B12 tested) and yet yesterday I received a prescription for 10 ampoules! However on the downside, they are short dated and the pharmacy did not have any long dated ones. I have also panicked and bought a supply from Germany, I am now swimming in B12 ...

The pharmacist I use gives me an I O U if no long dates on the b12.They should work out how long you need it to last.

Shorter dates are bought in by the NHS as cheaper and in a clinical setting used up quickly so not a problem.

Glad you are 'swimming ' in B12 .

Only way to recovery !

Yes do if expiry date noy long enough for duration of prescription. I check every time now and only accept what I can use in time.
