Keeping your heart healthy
Some of you might be looking to
quit
smoking
, and others may want to reduce their weight and start exercising and following a healthy diet. All these things are important if you're looking to keep your heart healthy and keep heart disease at bay.

day 8
today has been bad. I have a strong urge to smoke, I'm extremely stressed and really want a cigarette and since my boyfriend cant stop smoking in front of me I have to battle that urge twice as hard. I don't know what to do right now I'm losing my mind and worst case scenario I'm just going to sleep

New COPD diagnosis
I
quit
smoking
20 years ago, but if I hadn't I would probably be typing this from beyond the grave by now. I don't use oxygen supplements yet, but probably will at some point and will use them when I need to because it will extend my life and time with my family.

Then I read, premature greying on the hair is also a symptom of
smoking
. So glad I
quit
... Wish I had a long time ago. Or never smoked.

Morning everybody, I hope you're having the best day possible. I'm using my Nic spray but have not had a single puff of a cig since 4th May. Today is the third anniversary of my son's death, I'm strong this morning but going to the beach later where we scattered his ashes, and memories will hit. He was

Pain in my chest... fibromyalgia?
Things improved a bit after I
quit
smoking
, but I still have a case of bronchitis at least once a year. Still, this feels nothing like bronchitis ever feels. The phlegm is different and it just overall feels different.

Newbie here...
I stopped all caffeine, and trying to
quit
smoking
. I'm watching what I eat. I try to walk as much as I can, after 2 back surgeries there's not alot of exercises I'm comfortable with. Any suggestions? I look forward to getting to know you all.
