hi been reading some of post concerning heavy breathing after quit smoking Ive been cold turkey for 10 days and notice some heaviness more so than usual guess is normal I want to get this stuff from my lungs ive smoked for 48 years I have copd and I cant say what a decision stopping smoking is for me I feel better than I have in a long time exercise helps also so im definitely not ever smoking a cig. again and even my husband is on his 2nd day hope he will continue im definitely supporting just to say to all keep it up will be the best thing in your life and so healthy.

10 days cold turkey is fantastic and hubby joining in too really is a bonus.

With copd as you know already, quitting is the very best thing you can do👍🏼

Excersise is also a big help, so it sounds like you're doing great. Any problems just shout as lots of lovely people here to help. Drink lots of water to help flush out the toxins and you're well on your way to a healthier and wealthier life.
