Update on my Partner
The pain seems to have generally reduced, but nonetheless we're arranging some
physiotherapy
for him, so hopefully he'll be able to stop taking any painkillers in the near future.

Well I have been talking regularly with J. And considering what she has been through (Stroke and Covid contracted in hospital) she has been remarkable in her attitude to fighting her condition. She has had 5 B12 injections (that's what is prescribed in our area) and she says it will be tested again

Shoulder/ neck / upper arm
hi, my HA and stents were 15 months ago. I've had on and off pains in the chest area and gone back to A&E about 5 or 6 times in that time, each time the blood tests showed no cardiac issue, so what is it? I've tried everything so my GP has sent me for more tests including gastroscopy next week. Recently

Obstructive defecation
I am now on the waiting list for specialist
physiotherapy
but the waiting list is long and treatment is not guaranteed to be successful. If anyone has symptoms like mine please educate yourself about obstructive defecation and, if it seems to fit you, insist on being tested for it.

Hi all, just curious of people experiences with back or hip pain or both. Ive been experiencing really bad back/hip pain for months currently having physio which isn't helping unfortunately. Stress from ADHD has caused most of my physical injuries
Hi I was wondering if any one else has similar issues to myself. I was diagnosed with inattentive ADHD at 50 years. I was very hyperactive as a child and still cant eat food colourings, too much sugar and chocolate. I did how ever eat chocolate on the weekend just out of boredom I think. I'm regretting

Alicante half marathon
Here on a short storm-free break, I only learned of the half marathon last night. Looking after my dodgy knee I’ve only been bimbling on the promenade, but I would love to have taken part in the 10km which was held at the same time. Perhaps next time. Physio next Friday and I hope he can tell me

Movement = Medicine. Podcast recommendation.
Just wanting to recommend listening to Kali Dayton’s podcast ‘Walking Home From The ICU’…..it helped me so much during my rehabilitation…..especially facing the reality, the trauma experience. Iv cried, Iv laughed, Iv taken strength from it. She has also started a ‘Walking you through the ICU’ podcast

Meltdown
Hi lovely people. I hope that you are all as well as you can be and staying safe and warm in this awful weather. I have been quiet because life has been difficult lately, health wise and due to the death of my brother in law and a leak which meant a big portion of ceiling and then the whole upstairs

CATCH-UP CORNER. WEEK 3. Come on in, everyone is welcome here ...
Hello fellow runners. A very warm welcome to the Corner, on what is a very blustery day here in the Staffs Moorlands! The weather is very changeable and currently we are , seemingly, in for a few boisterous days. But I have made up the fire and drawn up the chairs, so that we may share our running

Unsuitable for Aortic valve replacement
Hi, usually just soak up all the positivity and advice in here but now have a question relating to my 84 yr old dad. He is in hospital, having been rejected for a 2nd time for valve replacement (all within the last 12 wks). They have said the risks are too great for him. But surely the risks are also
