vADS presentation vs hEDS, especially on darker skin tones
I am under investigation with NHS at the moment, at my request, given I think a lot of what I have experienced over decades corresponds to EDS. The NHS physio has confirmed generalised joint hypermobility at our initial meeting, given my medical history we’re having a more extensive examination next

ankle pain on first consolidation run
Feeling down. I headed out this morning for my first consolidation run (after 2 days rest), planned to go for just 30 mins like I have already completed in week 9. I went steadily and slowly holding myself back but at around 25 mins I started to feel a twinge on the inside of my ankle. I stopped and

Confusion
Due to discomfort, burning and a feeling that something was wrong, I was examined at my doctor's surgery and diagnosed with a vaginal prolapse requiring surgery. The waiting list is long. I went to a private clinic, hoping to get the surgery and get back to work. However, she examined me and said that

transfers
hello, does anyone have any experience in using a floor transfer turntable? My husband is over 15 stone and is finding if difficult instructing his legs and feet to move! I’m wondering if it will help when transferring him from bed to wheelchair for example. Comments and tips gratefully received. I will

Week 9 run 3 completed today!
I made it! Just finished week 9 run 3 :) I’ve been quiet on here but have been reading all the collective wisdom of this great community. I discovered the running bug many years ago in my late 20s. In my 30s I ran several shorter races, half marathons and 3 full marathons. And then not much running

*possible sensitive* life after successful IVF... and many others...
I developed a spasm from so many scans and check ups I had and now I have to have
physiotherapy
done and some medication to take to make my life easy. Even though IVF sucks I am beyond grateful that it does exist!! Infertility is a disease just like many others that needs to be treated on time.

Sacrowedgy?
Has anyone used the sacrowedgy? If so what symptoms has it alleviated? I just learned of it but I believe it's been around for decades. It's used both at home and by physical therapists for piriformis and more. It's inexpensive so I'm going to order but curious about anyone else's experience. Thanks.

Merry Christmas! And a happy new year!
I remember coming here and talked about my MS diagnosis! And I’m happy to share I’m better now! Emotionally and physically. I’m going back to the gym tomorrow and I’m so nervous!! I’m pain free thanks to a new physical therapy called body tempering!! I’m still without medication or a dr. Thanks to the

Strength, Mobility, Stability and Flexibility
A friend of mine just posted on a different forum a post about mobility, flexibility and stability of the spine and how that all plays together. So as it was not in English, I looked up a site that would provide a similar description in English. I found it useful when considering my weaknesses in

Anyone know where a copy of this particular IC diet is online?
This Interstitial Cystitis diet is the only thing that saves me from suffering. I wish it was given to me years ago before all the unnecessary pain/bleeding/drs visits/investigations/blood & urine tests/useless physio exercises/hospital Emergency Department visits/Cystoscopies, and stupid procedures

Effects from going off of amantadine
I am taking 2 tablets 25-100 C/L 4x per day and 1 tablet of 50-200 at bedtime. Back in August of this year doctor put me on amantadine starting with 2.5 ml. I was supposed to eventually get to 10 ml, but I never got past 7.5 because of the nausea. It seemed to help a little but I still continued to have

Misdiagnosed with COPD
Hi All Just want to say to anyone who has been told they have COPD after an X-ray please don’t stress or worry too soon as I did. The comments on my X-ray results were ‘Early signs of COPD.’ It was enough for me to think I had it because all my symptoms fit. I was told though that it could not be diagnosed

Air Physio
Just wondered if anyone else has experience of using an Air Physio for treatment of COPD. I am a pretty active 72 year old and have Level 1 COPD which was diagnosed a year ago and have been prescribed Trimbow which I do not find particularly helpful. About 3 months ago ago I thought I would purchase
