My first PD boxing class
I believe
meditation
class could do more for most people. Something else to ask my neuro.

Tips for preparing talk therapy. Bottom up approach.
For example: Yoga: chair yoga/ yoga focused on tension release/ relaxing yoga for beginners/ trauma informed yoga
Meditation
: guided/breathwork/trauma informed

Tai chi Therapy in a nutshell has very useful playlist to explain some of them and some tips as well.

My Life with ADHD
I tried
meditation
, which is effective in bringing me to focus and be present. But it was not sustainable because it takes time. However, I think it is the only way to survive

Keeping busy
So recently I have been feeling quite well, it has been a while since I posted so I really want to see if anyone needs to talk or have a chat, so I have been working, playing video games, doing yoga,
meditation
, little things to keep busy which is great, tell me what things do you people like doing to

help with social anxiety
I’ve tried cbt techniques, prepared conversation starters, have been through talking therapy, currently doing
meditation
, even tried hypnosis. I feel like it’s all good when I’m not in that situation but as soon as it happens I feel inferior and cannot function in that setting.

Letting people down because of IBS
(this is beyond Imodium or
meditation
). Now I feel so awful and I also feel so guilty. Another family member has to bear the weight that I have dropped, with me saying I can't carry it. I explained, but it sounds like an excuse. No one understands IBS.

The disease is in thought, environment, perception and inherited information. Then it goes into our body chemistry.
Living in a natural paradise, having a vegetable garden, bathing in the river,
meditation
, Chikung, electric bike rides in the mountains, fresh air and springs, redox molecule supplements, electro-stimulation with micro-currents, etc. have all made my Parkinson's "even better".

Psychiatrist might be into pseudoscience. Into Joe Dispenza. Need advice.
There has been proof that neuroplasticity exists and that
meditation
can have benefits. However, the layers with these claims more extreme claims; that the mind can heal the body in pretty much "magical" ways.

cardiophobia..
I’ve had times when I’ve had so many I had to lay down and do a
meditation
to make them calm down. 95% of the time though they go away on their own and do nothing more than completely freak me out.

I also try to minimize stress through
meditation
and time spent in nature, and make sure I get enough sleep (if I sleep badly one night, I'll let myself lie in the following morning...but then I am semi-retired so I have that luxury. I feel I am doing all I can to help myself with this disease.

Hi iA
I don't come from a background that embraces alternative therapies but I would strongly advocate the use of
meditation
, try to get into a daily routine or as regular as you can manage, I think you will feel the benefits.
