Tips for 2ww anxiety
I'm sure I've read on here that people have used some mindfulness or
meditation
apps while going through IVF. Has anyone got any recommendations for which apps to use?

The Headspace
meditation
app has been great for helping him sleep along with a little melatonin. The headspace meditations are great for parents as well to help us keep composure during the day.

A friend suggested
meditation
practice, and continuing my readings, you tubes with buddhist practice. Has anyone else found themselves in the same situation; looking for spirit during depression/anxiety. Can you share your experience with me?

no one size fits all
When I read some posts advocating
meditation
or foods or some other non-drug approach, I find it confusing since none of these approaches addresses the issues of the physiological need of the brain to produce dopamine.

LONG NEVER-ENDING BATTLE WITH MYSELF
I try what I can to manage it including group meetings, exercise, readings, journaling,
meditation
but it isn't GONE yet. My psychiatrist is trying medication to help but we haven't found the right combo yet and am getting exhausted trying. Well that's my story. Anyone else out there like me?

Mornings
I have tried
meditation
and journaling. I’m so fixated on getting up and taking my medication. I wake up so nauseous. It’s the anticipation. Sometimes I get up and take my meds and then go back to bed. I know I get better as the day goes on but the mornings are just so hard.

After every difficulty comes ease...... but seem the difficulties are continuous and the ease is tainted somehow like my racing thoughts need
meditation
but I just find it hard to do right now I’ll keep trying.

Shall I try injections?
I didn’t really connect the supplements to the improvement as it was so gradual and my GP and a rheumatologist had convinced me that it was all in my head, so I thought I had cured myself with
meditation
and mindfulness!

Antidepressant?
I've been struggling with depression for more than a year now, resisting medication and hoping that I could get past this with therapy,
meditation
, exercise, and diet, but it has proven to be stronger than I am, and I'm ready to try something in addition to therapy.

Mindfulness for Anxiety
This week the 10 Percent Happier podcast has a series on anxiety and various approaches for understanding it and dealing with it through a mindful
meditation
approach. I'm liking it so far. I am not affiliated but just passing this along as a fellow traveler. Good luck 👍💚🌎✌️
