I keep doing it!
I've put more focus onto the music this time as I'm trying not to totally rely on counting while I'm running because it makes the run feel longer in my opinion, Counting is something I do during a run if I'm panicking, then I do a body scan technique I learned from
meditation
.

No-go word of the year
I am doing yoga/
meditation
to calm my nerves but how can I relax when I am going to the clinic twice a week with bloods taken and having a scan? I look like a drug adddict with all the injection bruises on my body and I feel like a breeding hen when doctors discuss if I am growing eggs.

Ablation or Not?
I do Transcendental
Meditation
twice a day (for stress/anxiety). Diagnosed with Persistent AFIB Dec. 2017. AFRAID of after-effects of Ablation I've read about, worse than I feel now, which is mainly fatigue (who wouldn't carrying extra weight).

We introduced ourselves and it felt like a mix between group therapy and

/visualization. It was truly something I have never experienced before and I am excited for my next group in two weeks! I felt so calm, actually at peace during that time.

Tomorrow It Will Be Eight Months
I reduced my workload a little and spent more time with friends and with

and just generally self-care. Coming up to Christmas I felt mostly numb. I remember walking around among all the happy people who were preparing for Christmas thinking, "Yes, that's them but not me this year".

As I was lying on my bed in a
meditation
position holding my shamanic dream crystal, I began to feel this pressure, rushing type movement in my hands holding the crystal. Similar to a pulse or spinning feeling. I felt this same sensation in my throat, my heart& more intensely in my head.

Sound worse after day out
Went to age uk today there was a lot of talking going on then bingo being called out using a Mike by to time I got back to my flat my tinnitus levels were really loud they’re still high now and I am having trouble hearing the tv just hope the levels will go down soon will try mindfulness

Silver linings
Taking time to nurture myself has not come easy to me however, massages, receiving reiki,

I've tried medicine, music, writing,

High pressure
My BP has come down and it absolutely dropped since I started following a 10 minute guided

using the Headspace app a couple of days ago. I went back and re-read Dexy5's fantastic success story about her BP for inspiration and I'm 100% determined to get off my medication too.

Relaxing Makes Anxiety Worse
In the past I have enjoyed a nice bath, yoga, or

to bring calm. However, after multiple deaths in my family, my husband being out of work, and my dad diagnosed with metastatic cancer, I have not been able to engage in relaxing activities without bringing on panic.
