When I'm able, I try to do this daily to build up my

Mmmmhhhhmmm...., a run!
. ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ I thought I would struggle with my
fitness
, and maybe Iโd have to run through a bit of pain ๐ฆถdue to a healing blister still from my squelch-mega-walk ๐ฅพ, and surely Iโd feel a bit stiffer? Huh! ๐ค Nope!

Getting back into it after having Covid
The first day I was allowed to leave the house, though, I was determined to start getting my
fitness
back. I worked hard to get this far and didn't want it all slipping away. So me and my mum went for walks everyday from the 28th, doing 6-10,000 steps each day.

How low can one get ?!?

I envision the gym you go to, all nice and shiny. And you can probably ride your bike there. Itโs nice to have that accessible nearby. We have always lived rural. Itโs a three hour round trip to town and back. So no real gym for me. The photo is what stands in for my gym. I have had this equipment

Another 5K done
When I got back Garmin said my
fitness
age was 55 (Iโm 64) thatโs 10 years off since I started my recovery plan 6 weeks ago so I hope to be in my 30โs by the spring!!!! Hahaha ๐คฃ ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ

Exercise after ablation
I'm 56 and I've managed to build up a reasonable level of
fitness
, generally doing 2 6 mile runs in the week and around a 10 mile run at the weekend. I also walk on the days I don't run. I'd like to get back to exercise as soon as possible but obviously don't want to overdo it too soon....
