Hi all, looking forwards to getting to know you on this journey. I've been on a weight control journey for what seems like my whole life. I completely stopped dieting for a number of years because it was actually making me gain weight and then I was maintaining, admittedly an obese weight, but it wasn't going up at least. During lockdown my weight started spiralling up and also I wanted to do something to improve my chances against the virus so started a new weight loss plan. It has been going well, despite regular slips and binge days, as I've been slowly heading towards my target weight and gaining health, fitness and enjoyment in life.
Finally to my question - I'm considering joining the weekly weigh ins but wondering if I should put my initial weight as my start weight on here or my start weight at the beginning of this particular weight loss journey i. e. from July. Also which day do I choose, does it matter?

Many of us have come to the conclusion that dieting makes us fat and that's why we've chosen to find a way of eating that's sustainable, making weight loss a happy side-effect as we return to full health.
Make sure that what you're eating is satisfying and doesn't actively contribute to bingeing. Here are a few things for you to have a look at that may help.
Which weigh-in you choose is entirely up to you, but there's no time like the present and I'm sure the Super Sunday Slimmers would welcome you to their ranks.
Your start weight is also a personal choice, but as you've already lost some weight, why not celebrate that fact by logging your start weight from the beginning of your latest journey?
