After having so much anxiety, I finally completed week 9, run 3 - officially a graduate runner βΊοΈ please can I get a graduate badge? Happy running 2021!
Please may I have a lovely badge? I graduated this morning and am (literally!) overjoyed!!! Had smoked for 35 years, quit and am now running again - SO chuffed!!!!!
Hi, I graduated on the 4th November 2020 and run 3 times a week thanks to the couch to 5k and really love a badge or a mug as this would really make me happy.Ps doing the couch to 5k is fantastic achievement for anyone. π
I have awarded you your badge, but please note it is a virtual badge that appears next to your name when you post or comment in this forum. There are actual badges available to purchase - details here: healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
I was wondering if I could request a graduation badge too. I ask because of 2 issues...
1. I used another C25K app because the NHS app is not compatible with my phone and thus I could not use the NHS app. Nevertheless the app I used is called C25K too and actually has identically the same intervals.
2. I stopped with the app after Week 6 Run 2, because I did not feel up to running the whole time without walking breaks. I went 'solo' and ran from that point on for 30 minutes with 2 walking breaks in it.
But then suddenly one day (last Sunday) I felt good and I could run 30 minutes straight with no walking breaks in between. This must have been at about week 8/9 should I have kept following the app. I repeated this another 2 times (Tuesday and today), making it 3 runs in a row of 30 minutes straight, of which the last one was just half an hour ago.
Hence I was wondering if I can be considerd a graduate now too? I can send a link to my Garmin profile where you can see the runs if necessary.
Congratulations for running for 30 minutes non-stop, that is an amazing achievement!!
I would not normally award a graduate badge to someone who had not graduated a C25K programme, but in your case I think it is more than fair to do so! You could not use the app on your phone, and by the looks of it you used a plan that was much more difficult than the NHS one!!
So it is with great pleasure that I hereby award you your Graduate Badge!!!!
I hope you will continue to post here in the forum, and please do check out our Consolidation Club post to start chatting about where you would like to go next with your running career: healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
I started the C25K after having had Covid, so the first week I could barely breathe running for 2 minutes. Yesterday I completed W9R3, and I canβt believe I can run for 30 minutes. I am not quite at the 5K mark yet but working up to this in the coming weeks. I would love to have my graduation badge. Thanks fir this great app itβs really helped.
Hi! I have successfully finished my last run of the week 9! I never believed I could do it but dare I say it worked out better than expected! C25K really works, no doubt about it! Please may I have my badge? Now I think I need more help from the forum to keep me going and motivated for my future runs. I canβt stop now!
Hello, Iβd like my badge please - graduated yesterday after ten weeks and I still canβt quite believe that I can run for 30 minutes, this programme is amazing! Thank you for the links above, I will join the consolidation club.

Just did my graduation run and broke 5k at a snail pace of 48mins but π π₯³ x
Ok, itβs still early days so itβs tough to get through so I just delude myself by thinking just five minutes more then, wow, halfway there then five more minute spiel begins again πx
Hello roseabi,I just ran wk 9 run 3 and I feel fantastic to have completed this programme. I have tried a couple of times over the last few years but this time I finally realised that I can can go slowly! That's thanks to this group so thank you.

I completed couch 25k on 6th December and have kept up the 30 minutes 3 times a week since. I kept going for another 9 minutes last weekend too. ππ
I worked up to to run 5km using myself over the last few years( a late starter after breast cancer and now 64 and ok) using Garmin for times etc. Do I have to graduate on the C25K to get to be a βGraduateβ next to my name , and just find your sight my chance when was looking for information on another illness. I am now going to do the consolidation runs slowly to build up my stamina. X
Technically the badge is not appropriate as you are not a 'Graduate', but you have done something amazing there! I think in the circumstances, and because you are running 5k, it would be helpful for you to join in discussions on this forum with a badge. So there it is - congratulations, runner!!!!
Dear admin team - please can I have my graduate badge? Completed yesterday & reached 4.18km. Had to repeat a couple of weeks and runs, but here I am. Thank you!
Hello lovely people - proud to report that I graduated today - I'm super proud of myself but also pretty exhausted and wondering how I am going to keep this up, but really hoping I can. Also incredibly grateful for all the support from this forum which has definitely kept me going and I could not have done it without you - so huge thanks - I feel so happy and good to be alive in these bleak times π₯³π
That's so wonderful!! Well done, and there is your badge!!!
Keep up your running regularly, and you will become fitter and stronger, never fear!!! A couple of times a week is fine, and should leave you with a bit more energy.
Have a look through the posts linked above for ideas about what to do next, and enjoy! xxx
Hi , Iβm very proud to report that I graduated this morning. Thanks for your support- this program is amazing , I canβt believe what I have achieved πββοΈ
Hello! I started at week 3 of C25K since I'd been running without a proper plan before, and now I've both gotten through week 9 and a couple weeks of consolidation runs runs and am proud of myself for sticking to 3 runs a week for nine whole weeks! Would love a badge to mark the achievement
This program's been great for helping me stave off the seasonal-affective winter blues & this community's great - thank you all.

I graduated in December, I use a treadmill, ive continued to run 5k 3 times a week, do I still qualify for a badge running on a machine ? πββοΈπββοΈπ€
I finished C25K today and even managed a 5k. I pushed myself today as I really wanted that 5k and did it! This app has been fantastic and looking forward to continuing!
