What life extending questions would you ask the top oncologist. If you were me.
My attitude is still very good, and my youthful attitude and
fitness
make me a young 59.7 I still work part time and golf often, although I pick and choose my days now.

Advice needed..
I have lost the major part of my
fitness
due to a year indoors, so my heart also races, when I do any housework. This frightens me, and I stop what I’m doing. (The flat is a mess, I really feel unable to do anything about it) I really don’t know what to do to get myself back to normal.

Achievement Vs Doubts!
Thinking to myself its not run related 🤔 as its more nowadays since autumn started so it may be a number of things, but it did put me off with the pain, but my pride and how far I have achieved my
fitness
made me push through and afterwards felt great.

Hello all. Anyone else experienced ‘slowed down’ walking and pain with hypothyroid?
What got me to the GP in the end (despite experiencing some other classic symptoms, I now realise on reflection) was a sense of not gaining strength and
fitness
from the endless dog walking I do.

So happy to be back out there 😁
As I only started running in August from a zero baseline, I was worried about how much
fitness
I would have lost. I certainly have lost some - couldn't have managed a 5k today - but I just loved getting out there again and feel confident that I will be back where I was a relatively short time.

Week 9 Run 3! I DID IT!! I GRADUATED!! CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!
It's already done wonders for my
fitness
but also it's benefitted me in a huge way mentally. Having goals to achieve has given me focus during a time when I've needed it most. Obviously when I started the program we were in Lockdown 2.

Spring 2021 Half Marathon Group 😍 10K race? And some nice links - hills n thrills!
This article from Runner's World discusses some new research that found that it depends upon the type of hill and the
fitness
of the runner, but generally a mixture of walking and running is best!

What to look forward to....
Look at my posts 😂 30th June - first 5k (38’ 13”) - this was a bit naughty as it broke the recommended distance rules. 4th July - graduated C25K Mid September - got Covid-19, recovered but lost a lot of
fitness
. 5th December - first 10k (1 hr 12’ 23”) I’d never run since school, was 51 when I started

Keeping up the baseline, run. Run 34 post graduation.
BUT I am afraid of losing my
fitness
and having to go back to earlier weeks on C25K. So, today I was feeling OK with nothing to stop me (and also had no plausible excuses) and with the need to prep myself for the 5K Santa dash next weekend, I set off in my red devils coat and did 30 mins today.

W9r2 done. 26 down, 1 to go 😁
Even though I hear that it takes 2 weeks to lose
fitness
. It's the longest I'd been without running since the start of the programme. I set out with a goal in mind. I wanted to run further than I had last run where I'd just broke the 5k barrier by 0.2k inclusive of my warm up/cool down runs.

Week 9... done!
I've spent the last 7 years or so desperately wishing I could run so I could have all the things that runners talk about - the 'high', time to yourself, stats and figures to pore over, fresh air, new places, amazing views, and above all, a decent level of general
fitness
