GAME CHANGER (and a new PB!)
She has a very similar pace and
fitness
ability to me and we intended to run 5K. We took it very slowly and consistently stayed at that pace. After just 1K, I was feeling that all too familiar ache in my calves and was trying to distract myself by focusing on the music I was listening to.

Finally managed C5 🎉👍
I was really pleased with that as I’ve been worried my
fitness
was going to take a hit being off the running. Again my niggles are niggling but I’ve stretched, showered, iced and balmed and they’re feeling better.🤞fingers crossed I’m not too bad tomorrow.

Making steady progress
My
fitness
is gradually coming back but it’s hard not to do more than my plan says but no pain in hip so very pleased. I’ve also knocked off half of the stone I gained on the IC 😀

However lesson learned and I took my time to get back to
fitness
suitable for me to start again. Anyone starting out just take your time folks it will pay off in the end. Looking forward to graduating in the not too distant future.

Multiple sclerosis as the flip side of immune fitness
Interesting read. Does not change the outcome for many of us but could help earlier diagnosis and prevention in the future. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/10/201022112554.htm

/in-depth/exercise-intensity/art-20046887 I’ve always felt that just taking my age from 220 and then aiming to be in the zone between 70 to 85% of that wasn’t right for me.

6km with a new run buddy 🦌😘
My husband is/was a good runner but his
fitness
is not what it used to be, what with sport (watching!) and work and life getting in the way...ahhh... 😆 Heading out without my headphones and a playlist lined up was so strange but I thought we should make this a sociable run so 😂 😂He did well!

W6- sore arms?
Hi all, returned back to C25K after a huge lapse in
fitness
over the first locknown. I've completed W6R2 today and my upper arms are so sore. No issues with muscle ache anywhere else. I'm stretching after every run. Anyone else have this issue, and any advice?

Fitness Questions For Graduates...
My first question is, will maintaining this and running 2 or 3 times a week build my
fitness
at all beyond what it is now? My second question is - Is this actually enough to become "fit"?

Does everyone feel noticeably stronger each week?
I know it’s different for everyone and what level of
fitness
they started with but from a complete novice perspective...Im curious at what stage do people really feel they are making strides? Thanks in advance

And should I do this immediately from the start or only starting from a certain

level? Thanks, Blacky :)

Covid & Asthma a massive link after talking to my GP and paramedic friend.
He said my
fitness
has got me through this. I’m currently blowing 600 been off work and it’s 12 days since I tested positive starting to feel better. Still coughing and can’t get my breath. The doctor issued me with antibiotics and prednisone which I’m hoping will fix me. Good look everyone.
