Slightly faster today, but I think that due to terrain rather than any increase in
fitness
. Finding it hard to get out there, but always feel good once it’s done. NEVER thought I’d be a runner who goes out in shorts in winter. Creates less washing 😊

Fitness/Snowdon climb
Hi, I was diagnosed with lvsd in 2020. I'm asymptomatic, cause unknown and it's improved ef47% . I'm back at the gym. I really want to go up Snowdon. Has anyone achieved this if so what preparations did you do beforehand. If I do I would go with a guided walking group and of course on the easiest route

A long (sorry!) 2nd Runniversay post with links
shows how a habit was born, a habit of running that pulled all other
fitness
activities along.

Baricitinib and highCholesterol levels
Nothing in my lifestyle and
fitness
has changed to cause the increase ( very healthy diet and plenty of exercise, no alcohol or smoking - how boring!). Just wondering if this is the experience of any of you lovely people out there and if you’ve had to go onto statins have you had any problems?

Exercise when on Pred for GCA
For the last 3 years I have been increasing
fitness
through running and in Dec 2021 ran my first ever marathon at age 59 after months of training 😊🤷♀️ Then Jan I got possible GCA diagnosis and put on 60mg steroids.

Tales from a Slow-Jog Comeback #6: Runs and Rows
You probably can tell I’m enjoying my new
fitness
-diary a bit too much! (excerpt in top right pic) But over the last week, I also managed quite a few
fitness
-firsts. As a runner, I’m, of course, experiencing for the first time repeating the C25k journey. I think I count that as a first as well.

Getting a graduate badge for doing my 10K run last September?
I've been thinking about maybe doing a half marathon, although I know I'd need to start getting into the habit of running again and building up my
fitness
levels before starting training for another run as I've not really done any running since doing my run at the beginning of September last year.

I’ve just done something crazy 😜
Nothing wrong with that really but I want to get fitter and return to my previous level of
fitness
from over 2 years ago. So I have just registered for a Half Marathon on the 27th of August which is taking place in my home town. What have I done?

Pulmonary rehabilitation course
But it's surprising how quickly your
fitness
goes down. I turned up last week with a bounce in my step. And done the 1st 3 exercises fairly easy. But then went onto lifting weight exercises which wasn't that heavy .

No matter what it's not enough
I want to enjoy my
fitness
journey. I want to enjoy growing myself as a person. Instead of stressing because I think I'm lazy or not doing enough. How can I be ok with resting and relaxing? How can I enjoy life's journey instead of feeling like it needs to be done perfectly??

Pericarditis recovery (Post-Covid)
I can’t imagine how I’ll get from here to returning to work (I’m a full time
fitness
instructor). Would appreciate any advice on recovery. Anything to do, or that I should avoid? Thank you

Started Physio today, exhausted!
While i'm getting much better, today showed me this is still close to the start of my journey with regards to
fitness
. The only time i've felt like this was when I climbed a mountain, with a 15kg back pack, and came back down the same day.

Never say never
I would like to believe my
fitness
has improved since I did this route last or may be it is just wishful thinking 🤣 I am not scared of that route anymore, so that is definitely an improvement 😛 I might make it one of my regular routes when I am running alone.
