Running Fitness post angiogram
Hello. Two weeks ago I was half way through a marathon training schedule, as I have been for the last 12 years during Feb/March. However, I had to have an angiogram last week because of intermittent chest pain and āpotentialā stenosis revealed on a CT scan. No stent was needed as the flow was 97%. For

TTFD effective for PD? More effective than Benfotiamine or thiamine?
TTFD might help to promote physical activity, thereby improving physical and mental
fitness
. These results imply that TTFD enhances not only voluntary locomotor activity but also running exercise distance.

Cross-training: 5000 runners and 1 rower!
I recently reached a milestone in my indoor-rowing
fitness
-journey and rowed 10k in one session, reaching my goal of keeping the 10k under an hour! So I wanted to row for some weeks free of any training plans, indulging in a 10k consolidation period with bagging a 10k at least once a week.

Back in Blighty but Covid strikes!
I suspect Iāll retain my general level of
fitness
for a couple of weeks but feel frustrated to get this now. Oh well, if I have it, I suppose Iām lucky it will probably be the Omicron strain so not too serious.

Can't quite believe it to be honest, I've never achieved anything relating to
fitness
so this is a massive moment! Completed my last run, covering a little over 5kms in 30 mins. I'm 1 stone 2lbs lighter, 2 notches down on my belt and have a massive improvement to my
fitness
.

. I canāt run for toffee now. But I will again. I saw people running Parkrun last weekend and I was consumed with envy. So here I am.

Walking #1: a new adventure begins
It started with me finally getting off the IC, having kept up my
fitness
with a lot of indoor rowing. But once getting stuck into the C25k journey again, I realized my backaches from my pre-run days had made a comeback.

Running and PMR
It has kept me going, I have reduced pred to 1mg a day (on a good day) I have started a
fitness
regime to lose the weight that I gained on pred. My symptoms are getting worse since exercising. Should have stop.
