Pericarditis recovery (Post-Covid)

Hello,

I was diagnosed with pericarditis around 6 weeks ago when severe chest pain led me to A&E. It was though to be secondary to Covid which I’d had a month before.

I’m taking ibuprofen and colchicine. The pain is easing, but only very slowly. At first I couldn’t move much, eat, sleep or even speak for long due to the pain. Now I am getting up and moving a little but I am exhausted just with a few steps and get the achy pain back in the chest.

I can’t imagine how I’ll get from here to returning to work (I’m a full time fitness instructor).

Would appreciate any advice on recovery. Anything to do, or that I should avoid?

Thank you
