Stamina and keeping vertical all day !
I guess 4 months at home I just did whatever I needed to do at the time and now having to be vertical all day is just putting that strain on all my muscles etc again Thankfully it's school hols now , I have time to increase my strength and improve my
fitness
, hoping this is improved for the new term

physio
He is fairly stable at the mo and would like some physio to help improve his breathing and
fitness
however the hospital are unable to provide as he is now deemed palliative. Are there any other avenues we can explore re post surgery physio that anyone else has used? Many thanks.

Back? An eyeopening 2K...
I felt very good, though I do also feel I lost a lot of
fitness
. Despite running so slow, I sweated quite a bit and had to focus to control my breathing. But I also felt happy because 20 minutes (2K) felt not like too little, but instead felt good.

I think what put the tin lid on it, was a friend who came to stay, saying their daughter had visited, she runs and encouraged her mum to go with her - similar age to me, not a runner or into

, but, went out with her and did 5k just like that. I don’t get what it is with me.

8 Month update - The E-Bike! (covid pneumonia recovery)

As I’m still a long way from full
fitness
I’m currently sticking to short runs, frequently accompanied by taunting gremlins. 🙅Last week they kicked me out of the door for a slow 10k on roads and tracks with 222m elevation gain, then at the weekend tempted me into the forest to play on the trails.

Finding it really hard getting back into it
I guess I am not fully over covid as I cant believe I would lose that much

in 4 weeks. I think another try in a couple of days may be the best idea.

Back to c25k!
Because I feel like I've still got some stamina and

, I then did W2R1, W3R1, W4R1. From Week 5 though I'm going to do it properly! I have the Royal Parks HM booked in October, and the plan is to gently build up to doing the distance, without any care for speed. And staying off the Cigs!

Having slowed down and listened to my body I’m in really good place to take my

forward now - it’s not the end of the journey. Huge thanks for all the advice about slowing down, it’s made such a difference to me. I might be slow, but I’m out there doing it and feeling very proud 💕😍
