Pulmonary rehabilitation course
But it's surprising how quickly your
fitness
goes down. I turned up last week with a bounce in my step. And done the 1st 3 exercises fairly easy. But then went onto lifting weight exercises which wasn't that heavy .

Good Friday graduation run
I expected to have to go back to intervals again but thankfully had not lost much
fitness
(thanks to dog walks whilst recovering I think ). I have been running at a slower pace but this I can work on.

Rowing Videos for Returning from Covid-19 or Injury or just for those beginning to row
It’s great in how Coach John emphasises the gentle building up of stamina, as I can tell I’d for one would like to get my
fitness
back faster than my body really will allow.

Getting a graduate badge for doing my 10K run last September?
I've been thinking about maybe doing a half marathon, although I know I'd need to start getting into the habit of running again and building up my
fitness
levels before starting training for another run as I've not really done any running since doing my run at the beginning of September last year.

Semaglutide as an Answer for ADT Fat Gain & Obesity
We can all agree that the best way to combat this is through a dedicated exercise program including generous helpings of endurance exercise at mild to moderate intensities to burn fat and maintain cardiovascular
fitness

10 Mile PB and advice please
Fitness
wise, I think I'll be fine, but do you have any tips on how to run long distances without your legs aching? I really didn't feel like I had another 5K in me yesterday.

No matter what it's not enough
I want to enjoy my
fitness
journey. I want to enjoy growing myself as a person. Instead of stressing because I think I'm lazy or not doing enough. How can I be ok with resting and relaxing? How can I enjoy life's journey instead of feeling like it needs to be done perfectly??

Never say never
I would like to believe my
fitness
has improved since I did this route last or may be it is just wishful thinking 🤣 I am not scared of that route anymore, so that is definitely an improvement 😛 I might make it one of my regular routes when I am running alone.

Potential cures for atherosclerosis
I still work doing a heavy job in construction as it keeps my
fitness
levels up to a degree and couldn't sit at home.

NRC Intervals , (extended to 5K)
I think at 65, that ship has sailed already but what I do want is to enjoy my runs and at least maintain but hopefully still improve my
fitness
. So, all in all , happy with this 5K Jount which had some purpose instead of what had become just bumbling 5k's occasionally.

A Slow and Plodding Mid Morning 10K
My
fitness
and mojo both went AWOL along with my
fitness
age and VO2MAX I have been gradually building back up again and also re started mixing my runs up again and I am happy with this progress. I have been using NRC runs to get me back on track .

Back to running after 1 week break
How long does it take to ‘lose your progress’
fitness
wise? Anyone else had to do this? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you

CHD and early retirement on poor health grounds
Never saw it coming as I have always maintained a decent level of
fitness
, even in to my 50s. I'm now slowing down and not taking on so much these days - not just because of my heart condition, but also as a result of other physical ailments which have come to me with age.

What has running given you? 🤗
As a result of consistent thrice weekly running, I’ve improved my cardiovascular
fitness
, strength and stamina. But I’ve also become more attuned to my body’s requirements and demands, and realised I am much more physically and mentally capable than I think I am. What about you?

W3 coming up...
I cant say I've gone from fat to fit but I'm certainly on the way to
fitness
again still fat, that's what sitting on the IC does for you, still the toe is nearly back to it's normal colour so onwards and upwards. Happy running x

C25K - one year on!
I’ve lost 7lbs and my cardio
fitness
has gone from Fitbit’s average rating to the very good to excellent range. It’s extremely rare for me not to run at least three times a week and my mental health has really benefitted. Delighted to be turning 41 this weekend fitter than I was 20 years ago!

Pacemaker check
So I'm paced probably 95% of the time ( or more) I guess this is partly why after starting C25K back last summer, that I still can't run, my
fitness
is slightly better, as rather than run I fast pace walk, but, I'm still slightly disappointed that I can't run, but, equally grateful for what I can do.

Social anxiety and irritation before going out
We both agree it’s good for his health,
fitness
and mental stimulation to go out. We re lucky enough to have a car and visit coffee shops , cafes and parks etc. He chats to people and loves people watching.
