Week 5 run 3

Just completed the 20 min run on my familiar trail path - using the benefits of being retired to run in the morning and do some classes - like strength and yoga during the week - hope to keep up improving my fitness as I get older. C25K is a great app.

I agree with you that C25K is a great app and so are all the people on this forum, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran

Well done Blossom-time , that’s fantastic. I think everyone always remembers this run as it sort of clicks, that oh my, maybe I can actually do this, and it’s a great feeling! Best of luck with your next run. 😊

Congratulations on completing week 5 run 3You'll probably be smiling all day now 😁

Take care with week 6 run 1 as it often catches people out with returning to intervals !

Massive congratulations. That’s such a milestone. And you can’t beat a trail. Nice scenery and less pounding than the roads. Good luck with the next one. I found it strange to be back to intervals - wishing you a good one.

Hi Blossom, that's amazing progress ....have you run much before or have you always been quite an active person?🙂

No I’ve never been able to run before - tried a few times but never managed more than a short distance- tried C25K a couple of years ago but didn’t get beyond week 1. So pleased with progress this time
