In the last month I have finally felt as though I am getting back to preCovid
fitness
. I’ve enjoyed my runs and my speed ( for me anyway) is creeping slowly up again. I have been looking forward to going out there.

What rights do I have re treatment for AFib.
Not sure that rights is the word I am looking for.The phone call from the Arythmia nurse I was dreading was postponed and scheduled for next Tues.I have decided that maybe ablation might be too big a step as I do not have any crisis episodes. In persistent AF.However my quality of life in regards to

Here I am again !
I wanted to lose weight and improve my
fitness
. I'm still trying but reading my old post has motivated me again. I did lose weight. I'm stuck at 10st 7lbs now. My heaviest weight was 11st 9lbs. My son showed me a photo from 4 years ago and I looked 11st 9!

Coach Cory and 10k rows
And yesterday, I managed to get two firsts in my
fitness
journey, but in my rowing: I reached 10k!!!!! And for the first time, I continually rowed for 60min! (But there is no 60min badge or 10k badge, nor any medals ☹️, so I’ll have to think of some reward for myself.

Opinion: Why We Fall for Fad Diets, by Janet Chrzan in The Scientist
However there is more evidence that improving our
fitness
can help us live better with our CLL than dietary changes. In particular, study after study has found no benefit from adding supplements to our diet, unless we are deficient in a specific vitamin, etc.

Getting back into it
After breaking my tailbone late last year, losing all my
fitness
and putting on a fair few pounds, I was dismayed to learn the other day that I can barely run for five minutes at a stretch. Rather than push myself or give up, I'm getting back into the program.

I did it, the 20 minute thing!
Anyway, felt sick at 10 mins and struggled to 15 mins but then Sarah told me I had the
fitness
to do it and the fight was mental, so I kept going and actually sped up a little towards the end. Really pleased to have got over what shouldn’t be but is, that hurdle.

Slow decline 🐌
Last week I did a hiit session and discovered how much
fitness
I’d lost 😞. So, yesterday I decided to get going again and started C25 from week 4 just to see if I could do it. I did it, but it was hard!

Stiff knees!!??!!
I am continuing my rather slow consolidation runs after graduating over a week ago and decided to leave 2 days between runs as I really wanted to continue improving my
fitness
and avoid injury.

CATCH-UP CORNER...Week 4... LAST WEEK of SEPTEMBER! Come on In !
We worry about so much; Missing runs, loss of
fitness
and maybe motivation, and often too, about speed or distance or time Time now, to sit down together, take a breather and just re charge.

Week 5 smashed!
I have really not noticed a difference in my
fitness
and was dreading this week, I was struggling with 3 minute runs. However as soon as I started running for longer (8 and 20 minutes) I realised how much fitter I was, I did not struggle once. Has anybody else felt the same around week 5?

Post graduation run
In order to improve my
fitness
and speed levels (so I can eventually do the full 5k in the 30 mins) I’m thinking of going back and repeating some of the much earlier runs - the ones with walks and runs - and trying to sprint the 1 minute runs (I usually jog my 30 mins at a steady pace and push it for

the upside of becoming a heartie 😂😂
We’re going on holiday with my daughter/ son-in-law and grandson soon After 12 months on the roller coaster my
fitness
has improved a lot from the starting point. And even though cleaning the house takes me longer I can now do it After 6 months on the roller coaster I went back to swimming.
