Here I am again learning to run for probably the 6th or 7th time. I was out due to injury - a broken hand which meant they advised me not to run for 12 weeks, followed by covid hitting the week I should have been back. Back to the drawing board for me!
I've enough residual fitness to start again from week 3 and I know I'll make rapid progress but it's very depressing to be back at running for 3 minutes at a time when those 5k runs were only a few months ago....
Looking for a bit of encouragement and any other starting running again stories please!

So... slow and steady as you go, ( still the mantra
Keep posting and do, when the new Catch-Up corner opens again next week... pop in and say hello. Loads of folks there, slipping off their running shoes and sharing running stories and advice and support!
Aw, how frustrating. Completely understandable that you feel like it’s a set back but you’re only 6 weeks away from 5k again and I’m sure that will fly by. The last 10 weeks have whizzed past for me.
