‘What is infirm from your sound parts shall fly, health shall live free, and sickness freely die’. (All‘s Well That Ends Well)
My moving time was about my normal running pace, I was still a bit breathless and achy when we finished but I did start to feel some of the rhythm returning and Strava said my
fitness
was increasing (back up to 55, still 10 points below where it was before I was ill but at least it is now heading in

Congratulations to one of our group!!
Obviously in a group of 8 there were going to be different
fitness
levels and other factors that would affect our running. Our last remaining doubter was a recent ex-smoker and described herself as having more than enough body for each of her children to cuddle.

LINQ ECG monitor query
Again, any thoughts. 9 months on from my stroke my anxiety about when I will have another one has dissipated for the most part and I am living life almost normally save for now using the dreaded
fitness
tracker and being in possession of a Kardia device, which isn't used much now.

Eight months since my Mechanical AV
They support you with everything from your
fitness
plan, medication, medical appointments and your mental health. I still have problems but these are not related to my op. I have problems chewing and swallowing my food and have to have a sip of water to aid with the swallowing.

Southern Counties Champs report. Take the good with the bad!
It really helps with overall
fitness
and well being. I’ve never felt fitter or stronger in my entire life. The picture is of the end of my race. There’s not that much between me and the current UK leader. I can do this 💪

First tentative trot in almost 10 weeks !
Over the last couple of months I have felt both my
fitness
and motivation slipping away but up to very recently have not felt fit enough to do anything about it apart from a few walks .

An old fashioned jog
Ruddy Garmin VO2max didn’t like it though and added another year to my
fitness
age. But I don’t care - it made a great change.

I've done it🎉
I'm very slow but sure time and
fitness
will improve this. I've stuck it religiously and tried push hard which I think the is I've wrong. I'm so proud myself. My legs still ache lots as do feet but thinking again will better time and a less weight.

Lunchtime Rowing (20 min)
A nice quick lunchtime row with intense 1 min bursts. 20min makes it still overall a less intense row, but the 1 min all-out keeps your
fitness
levels up, or in my case builds me back up. A nice row to do after a period of illness. Workout link is: https://youtu.be/Lu2yTp0xfR0

ANCA MPO and Systemic sclerosis positive - Suddenly ESR 93
I had an extremely healthy lifestyle: no smoking, no alcohol (maybe a champagne toast at celebrations), a 7-day a week physical
fitness
regimen, vegetarian diet, etc. Perhaps one of this group, people that have experienced modern medicine, can give me some advice/direction.

Trouble with exhaustion and putting on weight
I have not felt well for months, and have almost stopped my regular
fitness
program. My excellent GP and Haemo man are aware of all of this, but do not seem overly concerned.

Fitness Watch
Hi all I’m looking for a new
fitness
tracker. I’ve had a number of fitbits but the screens seem to crack like crazy paving so looking to move on to something better. I don’t need anything too technical but do want something that will help me in my bid to improve my running.

The best laid schemes o' Mice an' Men.
When I was training as a long distance equestrian I loved the excitement of receiving the schedule of events, thinking about what to enter and devising training programme to get the horse and me to the peek of
fitness
in that start box.

James Dunne Calf Workout
As I’m not getting out there on my jogging routes at the moment, all this should keep my
fitness
and muscles up and running. The James Dunne Calf workout is a great little follow-along workout. So for anyone needing to strengthen their calves, enjoy! https://youtu.be/NoO3jgGFUs4

Always Something Positive
Thinking about
fitness
and weight loss isn't helpful for me. The only way to get these ling term targets is through the short term achievements So, I always try to find some positive aspect to every run. Last weekend's 6km sortie was particularly productive 1.

And I took the little one with me
Across the bridge, photos took, kiss Willow who was walking and off we go, chatting and running, she said maybe she'd take up running because it felt easy, she's tried a few home
fitness
videos and didn't enjoy them, then we sped up and in a laughing puffing heap dropped back to a walk, Run walk, talk

A mindful walk for Tim in Kenilworth, Warks
A lovely day to be mindful and grateful for health and
fitness
. I am immensely grateful to Tim and others on the forum for their sage advice during my early running days.
