Hi all

I’m looking for a new fitness tracker. I’ve had a number of fitbits but the screens seem to crack like crazy paving so looking to move on to something better.

I don’t need anything too technical but do want something that will help me in my bid to improve my running. I’m currently working towards 10K distance. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Maybe look at the older models of Garmin Forerunner? The 45 is currently about £105 and the 55 is about £135 (Amazon's prices). There are also cheaper "renewed" (ie. refurbished) watches about.

You can get screen protectors for them.

I got a Garmin 45 and I loved it. Its I guess fairly basic but it works for me. The instructions aren't great but I found loads of YouTube videos that explain how to set it up

I can certainly recommend the forerunner 45, had mine around 2 years or so and does everything I want it to !

I would also certainly recommend a Garmin, I have a Garmin 30 but the old rectangular shape model and it still does everything I want and more.

I can also recommend the Garmin Forerunner 45s - I use a screen protector, and over 2 years I've had no issues. Happy shopping!
