Confession time - I’m a less frequent visitor to the forums these days, so completely forgot about this during my Parkrun yesterday, so I am posting a walk for Tim instead today.
It was a great morning for a run/walk - not too cold, damp underfoot but dry in the air, (temperature mild for late November). I was thinking about Tim on my morning walk to church, rather appropriate that the route followed the same route as my early Couch to 5k runs.
The church bells were ringing out across town, the birds were tweeting in the hedgerows, and various other folk were out running or walking dogs. A lovely day to be mindful and grateful for health and fitness.
I am immensely grateful to Tim and others on the forum for their sage advice during my early running days. Over 5 years later, I am still running, albeit mostly regular 5kms and Parkruns, rather than much bigger runs (although I did make it to the HM distance twice 😊). I still heed the advice about respecting rest days, stretching and listening to my body.
RIP Tim, may your uphills be short and your downhills speedy.
