After thinking of every excuse not to go ... it’s a bit hot, my legs are tired from cycling yesterday, I’ve got a bit of a sore throat, I’ll do it on Sunday when it’s cooler even though I know I won’t as I have 3 children and 2 dogs to get out and about ... I decided I would go and try and if I don’t manage it I can just put it down as a practice run.
After all that I did it! It was slow and it was steady and I loved every single minute of it and I’m so pleased I didn’t let my mind talk me out of it!
Happy sunny Friday everyone I’m off to buy some running leggings as I’m still running in my normal clothes at the moment 😃😃

Well done! remember to stay well hydrated especially in the warm weather..leggings? I'm now wearing shorts, and my neighbour told me to put away the milk bottles! Haha.. good job I know him!😁
Brilliant! I hadn’t realised how much I was over thinking it all until I’d finished 😊 if I can do it you can do it I just went really slowly 🐌 go for it!
Yay Bridget. You did it. I'm planning W5R2 tonight and then Sunday it'll be W5R3. I'm so excited to try my new shoes. It's nice and sunny but cool here so that's just fine and dandy.
I did it and I’m still chuffed now 😊 I bet your new running shoes will be lovely to run in and it sounds like you have perfect weather for it! I hope you enjoy your run 😃😃
Well done and thanks for sharing 😃 Just what I needed to read!! I did w5r2 yesterday and need to psych myself up for the next one 😣 cannot imagine being able to run for a whole 20 mins!
Nor could I imagine it yesterday. I just went really slowly 🐌 and as soon as I was halfway I knew there was no way I was going to give up! You can do it! If you feel really tired just go even slower. You will do it 😃
