I've just run 8k! for the first time! 🏃♀️🏅🎉
It was so nice to be running different lanes, although I know them well from
cycling
and blackberry picking. 4k was a milestone as everything from now on was homeward bound. 5k...starting to feel it, still got 3k to go, will I make it?

Bisprolol 2.5mg post heart bypass surgery. Low RHR resting heart rate.
My resting heart rate is 48 due to a lifetime of fellrunning
cycling
swimming triathlon. The manufacturers leaflet says bisoprolol should NOT be given to anyone with rhr under 60. I believe this is why i feel unnecessarily unwell and i am trying to pesuade the dr to reduce the dose.

Impaired Right Ventricular function – experiences please
At the moment I have no symptoms at all - I've been back in the gym,
cycling
to work, and am on couch to 5k. I have no idea what to expect with all this, but needless to say I've gone from feeling optimistic about the surgical recovery to a very Black Friday indeed.

Using ear plugs
Hello all, I have found cotton wool takes the sting off the ringing when watching TV and daytime study, I do this also when
cycling
sometimes using silicone ear plugs for protection, can this cause or contribute to spikes later in the day?.

help! Quad pain has set me back to the beginning!
It’s been 2 weeks now and there has been so much pain I haven’t attempted another run until today (I am very active anyway, so a lot of walking and
cycling
). The run today was bad. I managed 4 x 1 min runs and my legs are tighter than ever. What can I do???

RLS: nutrition matters, n = 1
Those six weeks ended well over a month ago, and I'm still symptom free and
cycling
between keto and carnivore, a couple of weeks of each at a time. When I start getting even a hint of symptoms, I eat more red meat, and they stop.

Tachycardia, exercise and exhaustion
I have only recently gone back out
cycling
, and started
cycling
small distances When
cycling
, and at a good pace, I have no issues with my heart like any arrythmias, and for
cycling
at 11mph, expect my heart rate to be around 130 bpm.

Fit is Fun Club w/b 20th November 2023. ( For exercise achieved 13-19 November).
I have managed to do lots of walking with Pea, a Silver Swans ballet session and some
cycling
. I have also made more of an effort to do some brain activies. Crosswords, Sudoku and a start a jigsaw.

Fighting with death
I spend time at night anticipating my death, feeling as if that day is the last one,
cycling
through questions about life after death, thinking about whether I will be reincarnated and forget this life or cease to exist as I did before I was born.

Weight loss and Ketogenic diets
They often suggest "Carb backloading" or "
Cycling
Keto" as the solution. I've seen others pushing that the drop in T3 is a natural proventative strategy of the body to protect muscle mass, so the body uses fat stores rather than boby protein for energy.

Flecanide questions
I was quite fit for my 60+ years, walking and
cycling
regularly each week. My consultant was fine with my "living with it for now" approach and I was very in tune with my heart. He also said I didn't need to take blood thinners as I only scored 1 on the stroke risk scale.

kidney disease - Intensity Factor in sport games
I love to do sports, especially
cycling
, gym, boxing. I could train every day, while the nephrologist categorically forbids intense efforts. I tried to look for other doctors to compare opinions. Unfortunately, I have not been able to determine anything concrete.

Heart Rate Variability advice
I’m very active, working building my new house, as well as dog walking, doing around 12k -18k steps every day… not as much time
cycling
as like though I’ve recently been watching my Garmin and my HRV average is showing poor averaging around 23ms with over night down to 18ms.

Ding Ding…Round Three.
Its been hard but I am in a good place now and am back to vigorous activity,
cycling
etc….legs stronger than in years. I’ve learned an awful lot about how my leg works…or rather, how it might if I was fifty years younger and hadn’t abused it as I have.

‘You will never run again’, he said! Ha!
I took up
cycling
for a while, but didn’t get enough from it to sustain it on wet days on pot hole-ridden roads. I carried on rock climbing throughout. It was easier than walking, in some ways - my arms could help out.

Keys: A cautionary tale 😱
So, I phoned my husband and gave him the good news (he was in the middle of a
cycling
session 😬) and asked him to drive to me and bring the spare key. I stayed with the car.

Short of breath
Will start
cycling
again after radiation. I've been a runner and cyclist for 45+ years. I actually went to ER a couple of weeks ago to get checked for pulmonary embolism at the urging of my MO.

I know I'm slow but I didn't think I was that slow
It distinguishes between public transport rides (gives points for being eco friendly), car rides (no points),
cycling
walking or running. I have the app and after my run out of curiosity I looked to see how many points I had generated.
