IT’S TIME TO WAVE SOME POM-POMS FOR OUR FABULOUS ATHLETES!! 📣🥳👏

It’s that time again to perk up those pompoms and wave them furiously for our super duper VRBs this weekend.

🚴‍♂️ First up is Shake-and-run who will be cycling 59K in the Cotswold Classic Sportive event on Saturday. The historic ride starts in Stratford-on-Avon and will take riders past “thatched medieval villages, churches and stately homes… and rolling hills!” Some of these hills are “rather punchy” according to the organisers (oo’er “punchy” 😳) but then there are the fast descents to look forward to 🚵‍♂️

This is a just warm up for S&R as she will be cycling 50 miles the next day! All I can say is that you must have glutes of iron Shakes!

🏃‍♂️The next of our athletes is RunBrianRun who will be on the starting blocks again for the 100 and 200 meters at the Southern Athletics League on Saturday. Brian, we wish you fair weather and no false starts and speedy wings on your feet 🏃‍♂️ Blink and we’ll miss him but the cheers will be heard loudly 🥳

Thanks everyone. It’s a proper family affair this race as both my sons and my grandson are coming to watch. First time they’ve seen me at an actual race. It should be great fun! Wind looks too blowy for a legal time but I’ll still do my best.
