Running a marathon is my goal
Never run a marathon in my life but played football and
cycling
. I m planning to run 2 K this morning at a slow pace. I will see where it does take me.

ParkRun #10
Because of this I haven’t run all week but I have been
cycling
with my son a fair bit. I was a little worried about the ParkRun because the calf is still a little sore to walk on, but once I started it was fine.

Gradually increasing distance
I think I will do a 10k long run next week rather than the 16k planned as I am going on a week's
cycling
holiday the last week of May. I will then increase the distance of my weekly long run in June and ease off the

Shout out
Shout out to those wondering who on earth copes with just a dry like me pad when your child’s thickest available Tena pad, pants,
cycling
shorts, dress and car seat are soaked! Shout out to those whose kids sit on the bare plastic car seat more often than the cover as it’s in the wash!

Does Vitamin D in Tablet form make your muscles achy?
This is SO interesting because I increased my vitamin D this week, at the suggestion of so many on this forum, to about 3 times what I normally take, to 800 iu, and my usual Sunday 60 m ride today was the worst I have ever done, as my muscles, the vastus medialis mainly, (the main
cycling
muscles)

Why I am doing this?
I was very fit before however, I haven’t been riding my horse very much recently and found a eating habit of crisps 😂 I have picked up
cycling
and eating slightly healthier (I STILL WANT MY CRISPS 😂) P.s. I will opt for healthier crisps 😂 if that is a thing 🤷♀️😂

Potted History
We had started
cycling
in the April prior quite a lot so I was fairly fit. The early weeks were, I have to say, relatively easy. What was hard was doing what I was told.

CR 2 - a brief debrief tonight :)
They are
cycling
short length for runners so cover that unflattering flabby inner thigh bit and don't slide up your leg in an unseemly way 😂 so thumbs up to my new ronhills 👍 Once aging set out with no plan.

Life and meds after Cardioversion?
Prior to this, I was very fit and active having participated in sports of some kind for years, approx 5 times a week including running,
cycling
and judo. The symptoms first became evident during a run and I have been in constant AF since.

Higher BMI, lowering the exercise without lowering the calorie intake ... silly boy!!
Keen triathlete with swimming coaching twice a week (6-7/10 exertion),
cycling
once a week (5/10) and running more often than not (6-8/10). But I had a niggling glute so backed off the 2-3 weekly trial runs nearly 10 months ago... BUT NOT the calories!!

Are you like me?
I need to lose 20-25lbs and do a moderate amount of exercise -
cycling
, yoga and a bit of running. I struggle with snacking and probably drink a little too much wine.

Not sure whether to continue running.
I love that my fitness has improved so much and it’s been a real eye opener trying other activities that used to wear me out like
cycling
and swimming. Had such a lovely bike ride yesterday and had no trouble with the hills and stuff like I used to.

On yer bike!
My foot doesn't seem to have been affected so hopefully
cycling
will keep me going til I can run again, and who knows it might just be my new cross training activity. Oh, and I got home to discover it's world bicycle day today - it was clearly meant to be,

Running at 3 times a week if not 4,
cycling
2/3 times a week and I fluctuate between 13.8 & 13.12 since Jan. I get injured and don't run for 3 weeks but up my weights and do crossfit stuff. I weigh in at 13.2 this morning. How? Eating hasn't changed.

Exercising with PMR
Cycling
- I keep reading how
cycling
is helpful for PMR patients. However, it seems to always agitate my condition. I suppose there are so many variables. Wind, heat, hills.
