How to shake off bacterial infection without antibiotics in pregnancy?
Hello, I'm about 18 weeks pregnant. Over the Christmas I got some nasty infection. Started with 4 days of sore throat and terrible sinus headache and 4 nights of only about 2 hours sleep each. While travelling back home (slept in a hotel) I got pus in my eye (conjunctivitis) and a cough. Now, two days

Tramadol & itching
Strangely after a few years taking up to 100mg Tramadol to alleviate my RLS symptoms I have developed severe itching with localised "chicken pox" type pimples mainly on my arms and on the inside of my right thigh? For the last 4 nights it is in the main the itchiness which has prevented me from sleeping

Oxycodone anxiety
After being on Tramadol for 8y and augmenting on it, my doctor switched me to a relatively low dose of 5mg oxycodone immediate release tablet. I’ve been on it for 5 months and it has worked well controlling my RLS. Also, I have taken it strictly as directed to the point of taking it at the exact time

Hydrocodone to Tramadol?
So the USA ran out of Hydrocodone 10/325 due to DEA putting limits on annual production. My last fill was 11-6-23. Luckily I had saved up 90 units for emergency (proof I'm not abusing) but that ran out yesterday. I asked my doc to prescribe tramadol hcl 50mg to get by until production resumes. Started

Tramadol augmentation, what next?
I've received plenty of great info from previous posts and need some help again. I've been on tramadol periodically for last 2 years, currently take 50mg once in evening. I understand that's a low dose for RLS but it has been sufficient to eliminate my night time symptoms. Until recently. I've started

Opioids for RLS- some useful information
Having put this in a recent Reply I thought that I'd add a Post to highlight the information from three key sources which may help members in discussion with a doctor: 1. "Where first line treatments have failed due to adverse effects or augmentation, low dose opioids are highly effective and do not

an immobile mess
Firstly let me apologise the the lengthy post my mood is rock bottom right now and I need a safe space to air everything! I should also note I'm in the UK so a lot of the medical services are very different than what I would get quite easily in the US . I have suffered with bouts of lower back and hip

Total knee replacement - 6 weeks on
Hi Today is my 6 week anniversary of having my TKR on my right knee. I'm keen to start driving again and wondered if I need to get the go ahead from the physio first or what is the protocol? My understanding was that if you can do an emergency stop you can drive. I have an automatic car so I'll be

infections caused by endo
Hi everyone, sorry this is long, I hope you are all having a ‘low pain’ day. I was just wondering, out of curiosity, if anyone else has suffered from abdominal infections caused by endo. I am just getting over my third this year and have trouble identifying when the pain is infection as I’m sure you
