A success story and a massive thankyou!
Hi all. I wanted to drop a short note to those of you who responded to my last post. I have a wonderful success story. In my last post I reached out for help because I was struggling badly with crippling exhaustion and nausea. Many of you reached out to me for which I am very grateful. Two suggestions

Tramadol withdrawal
Hi everyone, I've been taking Tramadol 50mg for a number of years now for my back issues & also sit pain. Recently I've been getting out of breath even climbing few stairs, foggy brain which is awful, and overnight withdrawal symptoms quite regularly. I've spoken to GP and he has agreed for me to

Spinal stenosis
Hi, I am quite new here so unsure how it all works. I have been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, bulging disc, fibro, nerve damage, problems in my knees . I knew about the disc whilst working but saw a chiropractor twice a year & kept fit walking. I'm now unable to work since my back went in 2020. Sciatica

PIP advice
hello there. I’m looking for some thoughts regarding PIP. I will be 65 in January 24. In 2012 I had my left lung removed as a result of lung cancer. Ergo I now have 50 % less breathing capacity. I was retired early and had my pension was released. At that time I applied for DLA, and received the higher

I have been on Gabapentin and Tramadol for 5 years to help with pain. I have now been told GP will no longer prescribe as they are shown to have no effect on chronic pain and are addictive. Anyone else had the same?

Iron Level UP!
Earlier this year my Ferritin level reached nearly 200 and I began to sleep through the night. After a month the effect reduced and I wondered if this was due to using Gentle Iron so I changed back to 2 x 200mg Ferrous Sulphate tablets with Vitamin C every other night. More recently I have little RLS

I am feeling so sick
Good morning friends. A few weeks ago I posted about fatigue and nausea and I received really helpful replies suggesting I may need to take Tramadol at regular intervals in the day to avoid nausea and fatigue which may be mini-withdrawals between doses. For the last 2 weeks I have been doing this. Until

On 8th August this year, 2023, I had open heart surgery for the third time to replace my mitral valve. It was a tricky operation because of all the old scarring and I was worried I wouldn't make it, but I did. It worked really well and for two days I was riding high! However, on the third morning I

Anyone here with CRPS? I have it in all 4 limbs and struggling quite a bit with pain.
I have had CRPS in all 4 limbs for 16 yrs now. I have taken many nerve pain meds but only was able to tolerate Tramadol for the last 15 yrs. I'm now having even more pain from chronic repetitive strain injury to both wrists in which the Tramadol isn't taking that pain away. No Dr I know knows what to

Does Tramadol or your pain med make you feel hot in your face all the time?
I take Tramadol 400mg and it works great for my nerve pain(except my tendonitis pain in both wrists, hands and arms). However the thing I hate is that I always feel hot esp in my face all the time. I'm afraid the other nerve pain meds won't give me relief from the burning nerve pain like Tramadol. I've
