Advice of bowel shaving please x
Hi all, long story short,I'm petrified that my op is going to leave me with a colostomy bag. Stage 4 endo, lap last August,op on 19th April with colon shave I think. If you had this how long is the recovery, I barely eat now because I can't stand the pain. Codeine or tramadol most days, my relationship

Gallbladder removed 5 days ago
Hi all, after many years of pain and fear caused by gallstones, I finally had my gallbladder removed via keyhole surgery over the weekend. It all came to a head in January just gone where I had a severe blockage that caused jaundice, reduced liver function and pancreatitis. This bumped me up the list

Duluxotine
Hi have not taken them together but took duluxotinr with MST and Tramadol without side effects for two years, have stopped duluxotine as it did not appear to be giving any benefit. Prescribed off scrip for nerve pain not depression, by stopping it I have further scope to treat depression that has crept

Beginning of a flare or arthritis?
Seeking some input...have been very slowly tapering (0.5mg every 4-6 weeks), now on 6mg. Over the past 2 weeks I've had increasing stiffness and pain in my hands and loss of strength, and also in my left knee. I normally walk every day but I'm experiencing a lot of fatigue. Could this be arthritis

Hey!
Hi, I have always had ovarian cysts come and go and it's always caused me severe pain. My last ovarian cyst was 40cm big and I now only have one ovary. I'm super cautious of monitoring my pain as I don't want to be ignored like before and end up losing my only ovary left. I am still in a lot of pain

Ignored by GP
I had my SAH in 2013. Being a type of stroke, I was informed that I am considered a group 6 by various parties. When the call for group 6 came out, I called the NHS number. I was informed that there was no record of me having ever had a stroke?? I contacted the GP and was informed by the (albeit lovely

Where does motivation for life come from?
Discovering that I have ADHD has been double edged sword. On the one hand I finally have unified theory that explains and predicts the odd things I do. It's is a source of comfort and it opens up the possibility of treating the condition systematically. On the other hand, knowing that I have ADHD has

Only in the morning !
Hi all, I have been diagnosed with IBS about 20 years ago and put up with it in my daily life. However, I am now 68 yers old and it has been getting progressively worse. The main symptoms are awful dull pain as soon as I get out of bed, wether it is 7am or 8am, within minutes of getting up, I feel like

Marijuana
For those with access to medical marijuana, I have found my favorite variety for RLS (for me). I rely on tramadol and cannabis - both smoke and tincture. But a friend gifted me with some apricot kush. OMG. Instant relief. And relief from my arthritis pain, as well. And blessed sleep. YMMV

Gabapentin and Tramadol
I only recently started having severe RLS symptoms and I’m trying to see what works for me. I have ignored DAs based on advice here. 50mg Tramadol before bed has been working for the last 6 weeks but I’m worried about tolerance and eventual dependence. I am now going to try 300mg of Gabapentin before

Covid Vaccine, medical conditions and allergies
I was just wondering whether anyone has taken any of the vaccines? Although I work within a hospital setting where some of my colleagues have already received it, had been sent a text by my GP stating I should book and appointment and now furloughed, I really do not wish to take it due to my allergies

Temgesic success
After 20 years of nightly hell, my painful, super-destructive RLS has been relieved by Temgesic/Buphrenporphine. I posted a few months ago how my GP (physician) was willing but my neurologist refused to authorise. I contacted a private neurologist, who agreed to prescribe ... and the drug worked! Wow
